Cei-U!, yeah, the Big Two (and especially Lee and Schwartz) seem to keep getting all my money, and it's sort of a shame, because there are so many other interesting looking titles out there!

By thee way, I'd love to see a teamup between the Challengers of the Unknown and the Sea Devils.

Cei-U! We aims to please!

Oh man, I'm there! I've read a good chunk of Challengers, but I missed this one.

In real life, I bought these in May 1965:
Avengers 18 Journey into Mystery 118 Strange Tales 135 Tales of Suspense 68 Tales to Astonish 70 X-Men 12
If I were there with $2, I'd buy them all again, and add these:
Adventure 334 (the Legion) Spider-Man 27 Fantastic Four 41 Forbidden Worlds 129 (Magicman) Green Lantern 38 Korak 9 Jungle Tales of Tarzan 4 Magnus Robot Fighter 11 Sarge Steel 4 Showcase 57 (Enemy Ace)
Total: 8 Marvel, 3 DC, 2 Gold Key, 2 Charlton and 1 ACG.
EDIT: my Marvel completist gene has kicked in; I'm going to forgo Magicman and pick up Sgt. Fury #20.

I already got it! And it’s not one of my favorite Joker stories.

May 1965: I bought exactly none of the comics on sale that month. Don't ask me why. And I didn't even pick up SPORT magazine that month. I must have been flat broke. But here's what I would have bought: 80 Page Giant Magazine #12 (Batman) Of course! Adventure Comics #334 LEGION! All-American Men of War #110 If only to savor that cover again and again. Blackhawk #210 Impaling a teammate with a drill? I'm in. Detective Comics #341 Love those three-panel covers. Metamorpho #1 I loved him in B and B! Chaotic craziness. Rip Hunter... Time Master #27 Terrible cover, but I always had a weak spot for the Rip Hunter series. Showcase #57 Cover of the month! Tomahawk #99 See Rip Hunter entry. 79 cents to go. Sorry, but Willie Mays on the cover of SPORT comes before more comics: Two Marvels comin' up... and it's a Nick Fury double-header! Sgt. Fury #20 and Strange Tales #135

I know, I know, the poor guy was overworked.
