Amazing Spider-Man #31 Avengers #22 (One of the first back issues I ever bought, back in the late 70's) Fantastic Four #45 (The FF has officially hit its stride. The next couple of years are can't miss comics!) Journey into Mystery #122 X-Men #14 Tales of Suspense #72 Adventure Comics #338 (Can't miss an issue with the Legion!) Detective Comics #345 (I love me some Elongated Man backup!) Aquaman #24 (Just looks cool, and I've been watching the Filmation Aquaman cartoon lately so I have more of an interest in this era) Flash #156 (Good cover - what's going on?) Justice League of America #39 (This 80 page giant cuts into my budget, but I can't miss all these great reprints!) Justice League of America #40 Showcase #59 (The Teen Titans!) Rip Hunter... Time Master #29Superman's Girl Friend, Lois Lane #61 (I just can't resist that zany cover) Wonder Woman #158 (See my comment for the Lois Lane issue) Charlie Chan #2 I had my list set, then I saw Charlie Chan #2 on Hoosier X's list, and decided I had to have that. So, sorry Rip Hunter, but you fall off my list. Maybe I can just borrow that from Prince Hal.

Man, it's sure tough to pass up that Jim Taylor feature in SPORT magazine --but in September 1965 I'll spend my $2 on these: Action #330 DC, 12 cents Adventure #338 I love that my favorite Legionnaire, Light Lass, is on the cover DC, 12 cents Aquaman #24 Got to have this one. I've posted about this issue many times here at CCF; I love DC's answer to the Fantastic Four (minus one), namely the "Terrible Trio" comprising the flame-haired Karla, the Invisible Un-thing, and the Fisherman with his stretchy fishing line. Great Cardy cover. DC, 12 cents Avengers #22 Marvel, 12 cents Doom Patrol #99 DC, 12 cents Falling In Love #79 What a cover by Cardy! DC, 12 cents Fantastic Four #45 Marvel, 12 cents The Great Race #1 I've seen this movie many times as it was frequently shown on TV, IIRC on channels 7 and/or channel 9. Oh, just one more thing -- why isn't my favorite actor from that film, Peter Falk, on the cover?! But I'll still buy this anyway. Dell, 12 cents Justice League of America #39 A giant issue? Yes, please! DC, 25 cents Lois Lane #61 DC, 12 cents Showcase #59 Another Cardy cover! This is a must-buy. DC, 12 cents Tales to Astonish #74 Gene Colan cover, and Dorma's one of my favorite Marvel characters. Marvel, 12 cents T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents #1 Who could resist this cover?! I sure can't. Tower, 25 cents Wonder Woman #158 DC, 12 cents 12 @ 12 cents = 1.44 2 @25 = .50 Total: $1.94Enough left over for a roll of my favorite flavor of Reed's, cinnamon. A Cardycopia, plus some other Sep. 1965 goodies.

Okay! With only three cents remaining from last time, it looks like I'm restricted to 16 regular 12 cent titles. Ergo:
Amazing Spider-Man #32 Atom #22 Avengers #23 Daredevil #11 Doom Patrol #100 Fantastic Four #46 Flash #157 Green Lantern #41 Hawkman #11 Journey into Mystery #123 Justice League of America #41 Sgt. Fury #25 Strange Tales #140 Tales of Suspense #73 Tales to Astonish #75 X-Men #15
...leaving 8 cents to add to last month's three cents, one penny shy of buying either Batman or Detective. Nerts!
Cei-U! I summon mo money!

Blazing Combat #2 - Soooo worth all those pennies.
Daredevil #11 - I don't like that Woody is only inking this one.
Fantastic Four #46
