Marry Me on NBC has been pretty funny.

I've been liking Agents of SHIELD a lot, but some of the fight choreography is just terrible. In the latest one (SPOILER ALERT!) Bobbi supposedly whacks some guy across the face & he somersaults to the ground - but she visibly misses him by about a foot and then he drastically over-sells the impact.
I guess there's a limit to how much time they can put into this in a week's shooting, but I do find this a bit jarring - suspension of disbelief gets rapidly unsuspended

Watched the season finale of Face Off with my wife when I got home from work tonight. Quite enjoyed it. Awesome pieces and loved the finale test. -M Wife and I watched the finale last night and we were so glad that the right person won this season, since that person had been our favorite from Week 1. We were disappointed last season when Rashad won, because we felt that Tyler had the stronger overall body of work but stumbled a little bit at the end. Luckily, the judges got it right this time around, although it really was a no-brainer.

I have had no problems with the fight choreography, though I haven't really been looking too closely.

I finally saw Patrick Jane and Red John put an end to their antagonistic relation yesterday. I was glad the writers didn't go all "oh, a TV hero would never do that!"
The mentalist has been consistently good over the past few years. Not the best TV show ever, but always fun to watch (and actor Simon Baker really did an outstanding job). I hear the series will conclude with the upcoming shortened season 7; hard to believe it's been so long already!

My wife and I watched the Marvel 75 Years from Pulp to Pop special on ABC tonight when I got home form work. Quite enjoyable except for the McFarlane bits. Interesting to see which creators they got to do bits for it, and liked that they gave a lot of credit to Steve & Jack (and Burgos and Everett).

I'm currently catching up on Justified (on season 4). Started watching Hannibal which is a twisted and sick but very well done show. At some point I'd like to start Under the Dome, 24 (yeah I know way late to that party) and Vikings. I'll just have to fine the time.

Sherlock is twelve hours of great television and "The Hounds of Baskerville". Andrew Scott's Moriarty may be my favorite character in any media ever.

Its like Sons of Anarchy...with swordy things. and this 'fulla loves Justified, I think we're up to date here, and Im eagerly awaiting the final season.

I'm putting together a complete run of Babylon 5 together so i can binge the entire thing. I still see this as close to THE best SF series ever, maybe surpassed only by the Battlestar Galactica remake, and I'm a ST:TOS fan.
Anxiously awaiting the last 2-3 episodes of Sons of Anarchy, enjoying the heck out of Walking Dead, and impatiently awaiting Game of Thrones next year.

I'm still hanging in there, in the hope that it will get better again (as it briefly did for series 6), but I'm living on nostalgia mostly - maybe a dozen or so good episodes in 4 whole series + 6 new episodes of this one is not a good return. I can honestly say that I didn't even crack a smile for 4 of the 6. It's that good old fanatical completist comic-buyer mentality again: "yes, I know that issues 6 to 397 have been crap, but the first 5 were great, and I really like Bat-Pony and anytime soon it could get better again..." Simon, you hit the nail on the heaf. Exactly how I feel, I want to love this show so much, but it aint funny. The whole OCD collector is completely right too, but I think in this case I'll stay with it so at least THAT part of me(geek not OCD ) gets to feel normalised for a while. WE deserve a show, we deserve a GOOD show, but A show will do.
