Only reason I'm watching SoA is to see who dies. Show has been a mess since Jax collapsed on the pier as that dude kidnapped Abel.

Oh, and Sons of Anarchy just keeps getting dumber and dumber. I hope Jax kills himself in front of Gemma. I've never watched it, but have a coworker that is a huge fan and tells me about it here and there. Most of his descriptions reminds me of the Simpsons episode where the biker gang kidnaps Marge to do their domestic duties for them, and Homer battles the gang's leader, where they "sword fight" with motorcycles. Yeah, that was an episode of Simpsons, meant to be ridiculous. I get the impression this show is suppose to be taken seriously. You're breaking my heart here guys, Shakespeare it aint, but its entertaining. The odd thing for me personally is that I hate how society has accepted the likes of the Punisher or Wolverine as positive role models, I do really dislike that we are meant to see these guys as heroes, or even just good. But, I love the show, guilty pleasure I guess. I miss Ron Perlman too.

The only Superhero Shows that I watch on a regular basis are - Arrow, The Flash, and Constantine. I've also watch documentaries, movies on TCM, and very few network television. One of my favorite shows is on Investigative Discovery is Lieutenant Joe Kenda, better known as Homicide Detective. I just loved this guy personal touch to his homicides that he solved in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

I really loved Sleepy Hollow last year, but I'm a little bored by it this season. Too many MOTW episodes, and while they all tie back to the main storyline somehow, it's become too much of the same old same old: Big Bad concocts some scheme or conjures some threat, Good Guys thwart or defeat it, scene at the end where the Big Bad somehow gains the advantage, which leads into the next episode, where the Big Bad concocts another scheme, lather, rinse, repeat.
I was watching it live last year, but this year, I'm lucky if I get to the recording by Sunday night before the new episode airs on Monday, which is what happened to me with Once Upon A Time two seasons ago.

You know what's not on TV? Vikings, season 2. The DVDs I just bought from E-Bay (factory sealed, brand new) are as crappy as those of the season 1 set I purchased last year.
I wonder what it is with these discs. Two sets in a row, both featuring a few unwatchable episodes? I mean, I got the entire Twilight zone series a while ago and there were glitches in one episode out of the lot.
I think I'll stick to local merchants from now on; that way, even if it's more expensive, I have the option of returning the defective discs with no hassle.

Oh, if only the episodes of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. at the beginning of the first season had been like last night's, this show would have a much bigger audience. It is really clicking on all levels right now.

I'm growing impatient waiting for the latest season. I didn't start watching this until the second season, so I haven't seen season 1. But, still, I am impatient for season 3.

And, of course, American Horror Story was another great episode last night.

I was fully ready to hate the show when I first heard of it, but I admit I was very pleasantly surprised. Sure, corners were cut and some obvious historical errors were written into the script… but its verisimilitude made it all acceptable. And the characters are a lot of fun to follow. Season 1 was outstanding, especially since Ragnar and his family are so sympathetic. The buildup to Ragnar's confrontation with Jarl Haraldson was very well handled; the respect/hatred between the two was really like a boiling kettle!

I really couldn't understand why Ragnar would drop her for his second one, but at least she wasn't written off the show (at least up to where I an now in season two). She's indeed an awesome character. I loved the way she handled the would-be rapists who showed up at their farm in season 1!!! Ragnar himself shows interesting development. He was at first a young and daring farmer with a big imagination, but as he gained more and more power he became more selfish and far less likeable. The Ragnar of old would never have considered sacrificing a friend to his interests, but today he would without hesitation. Power corrupts!
