Awful news. It does feel stunning because he's someone I actually got to see through the Zoom meetings. He seemed like a really nice guy.

I have never thought about how would anyone know if that happened to me. Though my wife know about ya'll just in conversation. And like others im always logged on here in my phone and the discord servers I frequent. And she knows my phone passcode so it wouldn't be like she couldn't do it, I'm just not sure she would think to do it. And the only person I have met her was hondobrode (but I haven't seen him here in a long time) but my phone number has changed since I last met him before he moved.

sorry. . didn't mean to turn this into *anything* about me. . . just stating how I feel.
(and I'm in FB jail, again, because I shared a FB sponsored Underwear pic to show the craziness that FB shows me. . . and they said I violated against "Sexuality & Nudity" rules. yeah, from a pic I took of something THEY put in my feed. So I'm in FB jail for 6 days).

I am a new member so do not know the other posters here very well yet, but he was the first member to reply to my first post here in the introduction thread and he was very kind and welcoming. That first response of his put me at ease and I really appreciated it. I hear you. When I first joined this forum, Brutalis was one of the first to reach out, to like my posts, etc., and that made me feel welcomed. He was such a warm, beautiful presence here. I am still in shock over this. |

I was thinking, has anyone from Bruce's family been made aware of this thread? And if not, is there anyway we can notify them of it? Chances are that his relatives might derive some comfort from reading all the comments and seeing how valued and appreciated he was in this community.

I sent a text of a photo of the memorial service to Bruces cell phone. If anyone in his family looks at it , maybe they will know. I also asked if they know anything more they want to share with us. Oh my God, I am just seeing this today. I am so, so sorry to hear this. RIP to Bruce and my condolences to his friends and family both in person and online.
What a shock. I don't have anything to add that hasn't already been said here. I agree with everyone on what a pleasant guy he was around here.
This is so sad.
