On March 18th my wife is going Chile for a week long vacation. I don't have to get up early to drive my wife to the ferry or pick her up in the afternoon. I am going to try to consume all the comics and movies that I can possibly can. I'm looking for suggestions on which comics to read and which movies to watch. I have many sources like Marvel Unlimited , Comixology, Dvd's and other sources that I can't mention here that give me access to many great stories. I am asking everyone in the CCF to suggest comics, movies that are great so I can totally have a wonderful time.
Please give me you favorite story Arcs and movies. I have many classic movies that I want to watch that I have never seen. My goal is to read 100 comics and watch 20 movies in one week.
Cmon CCF members, give me your best!

From the best era of the Conan comic, I recommend Conan the barbarian #19-26. It is an epic story arc telling of the siege of a city-state (inspired by the Illiad, one would believe) and features these highlights:
- Barry Windsor-Smith's best artwork on the title; - Roy Thomas doing his best adaptation/expansion of Howardian material (two REH stories are used in this arc, neither of them Conan tales); - the introduction of Red Sonja; - John Buscema's first issues; - A fantastically exotic setting; - Gigantic mirth and gigantic melancholy; - the introduction of Prince Yezdigerd, who would become Conan's longest-lasting non-sorcerous foe; - At least one Easter egg (some text hidden in the background); - A character saying "wank" without the comics code noticing; - Much ass-kicking and all-around Hyborian Age mayhem.
Enjoy your free time, icctrombone!

Night Nurse 1-4....I posted it in the purchases thread. Since your wife isn't around you can stare at the cover as much as you like.

I've been rereading the IDW run of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and it is an amazing read.

There's a Hardcover edition of 'Something is Killing The Children' that conveniently collects the first 15 issues (#21 is coming out soon).

I had Gothan By Gaslight but I don't remember reading it. Of the Movies you listed I have watched :Tombstone,The Rocketeer, Casablanca, Treasure of the Sierra Madre, Maltese Falcon. I guess the rest of those films are live possibilities. Thanks, PH.
