Hard to believe now, but according to Mike Grell, there was a time when Warlord was DC's top selling title. So there are just literally tens of thousands of extra copies of most of the issues compared to current demand. I've seen nearly complete runs at flea markets for 25 cents each. There are just a lot of them out there.

I got a big box of 90 comics in from Lone Star yesterday. I love the new warning tape they're using, makes the carriers think they're carrying a bomb or something heheh. I'll reveal it's contents when I get the chance to later!

First time posting photos, I'll get better at it, I promise... Got on a Teen Titans kick recently. Great silver age goofy DC stories, loved it. Nice! I'm hoping to get those for a decent price at some point

I bought myself a Christmas present over the weekend. All in NM.
Some Dollar bin specials:
Nick Fury vs. SHIELD 1-6, My expectations are low for this but I'll give it a read.
Jon Sable 1-24, I love Grell so my expectations are high. I've wanted to read this for years but could never find copies in good shape.
And the big buys...
Conan #10 in beautiful shape. The nicest copy that I have seen personally including some CGC one's at conventions. I paid $65.00.
Fear #2 - Nice copy of a Marvel monster 50s reprint book.
The Mighty Marvel Western - #6, #8, #9, #11, #12 - Gotta love the Marvel westerns and you don't often see the giant-size marvels from this period in high grade because of the square binding. I was happy to grab these.
Nick Fury, Agent of SHIELD #16 - Reprinting the first 4 issues of John Severin's run on the title.
Warlord #2 - Not pricey but filled a hole. Now I just need #1 and the last issue and the 3rd Annual.
Western Gunfighters #1 - Gorgeous copy of a hard to find issue.
World's Finest #207 - While I didn't come to DC until after Crisis I never understood all the anger about the Superman and Batman relationship. It seemed acceptable to me that they weren't friends. But when I go back and read an issue of World's Finest I completely understand how deeply saddened readers must have been about the decision to eradicate all the positive Silver and Bronze age history between comics two biggest stars.

Jon Sable 1-24, I love Grell so my expectations are high. I've wanted to read this for years but could never find copies in good shape. One issue features a non-ironic dance-off between a gay Broadway star and an interracial New York street gang carrying boom boxes. So yes, this series will meet your expectations - and exceed them.

I just got back from the LCS, where I picked up the Shadow War of Hawkman miniseries; issues 3, 9, and 10 of Arak, Son of Thunder; issues 46, 48, 50, and 52 of Captain Marvel (the 70's series); JLA vol 1 #98, JLA vol. 1 Annual #3, a couple of random issues of the 70's Dr. Strange series, and about 20 issues of Master of Kung Fu. Except for the two JLA issues, they were all $1 or $2.

I do remember it being super popular at one point in the late 70's or early 80's and at a time when I don't think DC's sales were that great overall, so while I'm surprised, I'm not totally shocked at this. I have a few issues of Warlord, but this is something else I should probably start looking for in dollar bins one of these days.

First time posting photos, I'll get better at it, I promise... Got on a Teen Titans kick recently. Great silver age goofy DC stories, loved it. YAY! I just recently got volumes 1 and 2 of Teen Titans in the Archives books. I haven't read them yet (working on Swamp Thing currently, and I also want my husband to wrap the dust jackets for me before I read them), but I am looking forward to it. I was hesitant to get into Silver Age TT because I had heard it's sort of ridiculous, but I wanted to find out for myself if it was ridiculous-fun or ridiculous-long-but-boring. Those covers are GREAT on those! I'd love to read that Brave and Bold story.

I recently purchased and received MMW Silver Surfer which collects SS #1-6 and some other things (I think, I have to look again), which is great for me because I was having a hard time finding Stan Lee's SS in collection for those exact issues. I freaking love his Silver Surfer.
I also got Roots of the Swamp Thing which I started last night, and I am not only loving the stories, but the art as well.

As far as Silver Age Titans go, it's no more or less ridiculous than most DC Silver Age stuff... the only thing is the 'hip' dialogue.. as long as you can deal with that, you'll enjoy them.
