Hey Cei-U! , quick last minute question: do the supervillains have to have originated in comics? Or can we pick, say, Darth Vader as one half of a pair, as long as it's a comic book appearance of Vader's we are chosing? I consider that Rabbit to be a villain... to my peace. |

Is it me or is it a bit tough to find villain teams outside the Big Two? I have a couple of ideas but I don't think they constitute as a villain team. I can think of two from Bill Willingham's Elementals. Oh I got more outside the Big 2. Tomorrow it starts! Is the post-Crisis Suicide Squad a supervillain team? I know some members weren't villains... I don't think I can think of 12 that I really like but I am interested in seeing others' choices. If they're up to no good, then they're good to G-O. |

It’s great to see some well-known choices in this event, but I am particularly enjoying seeing some esoteric choices, too, some of which I was not familiar with.
Comics are like our universe: we think we know a lot, but there’s still so much left to explore…

People have definitely brought their A-game to this event (as they always do). Really fun, almost as much fun as Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s year-end awards.
I’m thinking that some publishers should think about doing trades devoted to villains. I used to argue that Marvel should do a villain equivalent of their Essential volumes. Maybe it wouldn’t sell, but a DC or Marvel (or anyone) trade devoted to a particular villain might be fun.

As I’ve long said, autocorrect, which I *loathe* (and have no idea how to turn off on any device) is from the Devil.
I had to write up the names Zartan and Destro for one of my choices, a rough draft if you will (which are now on another number on my list, although I planned them for today’s entry). Do you think moronic autocorrect can handle Zartan or Destro? No, it had to know best and try to change them.
Note to autocorrect: I know you are not sentient, but *I* know what I am writing, so don’t be a presumptuous and stupid entity.

Cei-U!, as we have just crossed into the second half here today, just want to say this theme is an absolute blast. I'm digging it so much, I'm writing up some of my posts in advance (along with acquiring supporting images) and saving them for future days just because I'm having so much fun. Not to mention reading everyone else's posts, and how much material it then makes me go seek out. Thanks again for all you do with this, it's a wonderful tradition here!
