I think you mean 2 thongs don't make a right.  Comics were under the radar back then, and co-opting from movies was common place. Look at what Gulacy did in Master of Kung Fu. |

It did wow me as a little girl...even if everyone knew DC would never really kill off its flagship character. But no one cared, the hype sucked in many like a black hole. It was the mother of all gimmicks. I look back some 30 years (damn, I was like 4 feet tall when I got it) and think DC, you sons of b****es....but I still own several copies to remind me not to be a sucker again. At least until the next suckable event.
