Thors hammer can't be lifted by anyone who isn't worthy, but it can't be taken from his grip ? That's Hulk using 2 hands and still can't wrestle it away.

Well, that would be a pretty big loophole if an unworthy one could just wait for Thor to pick it up and then snatch it away from him, right? I do like that this establishes that the hammer can fly around on its own path, which explains Thor using it to fly where he wants it to go, rather than flinging it into the air and being dragged along to wherever it would land.

The fact that Kurt gave a like to this post , acts like a confirmation. Objection withdrawn.

This is the era when Cosmic boy had to strip to make ends meet.

In Captain Marvel #37 , Marvell goes into space to investigate a previous attack against him and Rick Jones has to follow along. Before he goes , his musical partner Glory, gives him what appears to be drugs. Of course he takes it and Marvell feels the effects and gets his @$$ kicked because of it. How did drug use get past the Comics code in 1975 ?

Marvel Team up # 10Spider-man webs himself to the bottom of a jet going to Venezuela. I'm sure he didn't get cold or run out of oxygen.

How did drug use get past the Comics code in 1975 ? Wasnt it allowed if it wasnt portrayed as glamorous? Remember, this is well after the Spider-Man drug issues which caused the CCA to re-evaluate the code.

The reason Thor's hammer can't be lifted is supernatural, not because of physical weight. If the hammer was on one side of a seesaw and Hulk sat on the other side, the side with the hammer would go up as expected, but Hulk still wouldn't be able to lift it off of the seesaw.
Similarly, if you were at the supermarket and Thor's there doing his shopping, if he walked away from his cart for a moment, leaving Mjölnir in it, I contend you could roll the cart out the door, up a ramp into a truck and drive away with it. But no way you're getting it out of that cart.

Yeah, that's the way I've always understood it.

His webbing, once the fluid condenses, has an insulation rating of R12. Or didn't you know that? The guy at Owens-Corning Fiberglas told me...

I understand this more at DC where they didn't try to explain things realistically, but Marvel tried to walk the line of science and adherence to real world situations.

Like towing an island? (Backwards, no less?). I suppose that re-locating the Palisades was terribly convenient.
No mention of damage or the impending repairs to the underlying infrastructure, which would literally take years to repair.
I suppose he's going to use giant staples to hold it in place now? Let's see, a block-long Swingline staple at Washington Square, another at 59th and Central Park, an a final one across the street from the Apollo Theater ought to do it.

Yeah they tried, but ultimately it's a world built on impossible scenarios.
