This is just my preference and not in any way commentary on skill, but I have just never liked George Perez's style. At all.
I loved the 60s Batman show, and it was my first introduction to campy silliness. Granted, I haven't watched it in a long time, so I don't know how that holds up.
Mac and cheese is wildly variable. The best is some of the most comforting comfort food to ever comfort. The worst smells like schoolbus-yellow vomit.

Not a stab at my mother in laws' cooking (both my wife's biological mother and my wife's current step mother) when it comes to mac & cheese and stuffing I much prefer the boxed versions. And on Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner they both cook a box of Stove Top and Velveeta shells & cheese for me. But Stove Top and "dressing" as they call it for Southerns are two very different things. Like going to the UK and asking for biscuits & gravy and frightening said person. And apparently devil eggs as my mother always made them with dill relish and Southerns use sweet relish. And so both my dear mother in laws made some with dill relish like mother did for me as well.

As a Canadian, I feel it is almost my patriotic duty to defend Kraft Mac & Cheese, known here as Kraft Dinner (and just "KD" by everyone). I would be lying if I said we didn't have several boxes in our cupboard at all times. Like has been said, one of the best comfort foods. Homemade mac & cheese is great too

My mom was a great cook( and made homemade Mac and Cheese) but with 5 kids and working as a pediatric nurse this was a quick meal on a Wednesday night. I

That holds true in the French-speaking part of the country too! We never say "macaroni au fromage" when we mean "Kraft dinner". Just pronounce it like Pepe Le Pew would!

I love KFC. You can have the other stuff. And now we're back to disagreeing. KFC is just atrocious even by fast-food chain standards.

Mostly I avoid fast food chains like the plague.

I did like Batman '66 once, and then I turned 7 and scenes like this just made me roll my eyes. Maybe this worked in the 60s, but it's not my Batman so...
It did not work so well in the 60s, either (if one avoids the "it was the biggest show on TV!!!" less than historically accurate claim); pre-dating the January 1966 debut of the TV series, one of the first comic book fanzines titled Batmania was published (starting in 1964) by Billy Joe White, and as the TV series premiered / ran on ABC, the fanzine was often less than impressed, or downright savaged the series for being anything other than similar to the comic. Batmania was also significant due to being quite thorough with articles about the Batman comic book universe (including landing interviews with nearly every key talent associated with Batman at the time), so a reader knew the fanzine was published by someone who really knew the character and his universe. White, et al., were not isolated in their heavy criticism of the TV series, as similarly worded complaints could be found in the letters sections of Batman and Detective Comics of the period.

Agree--when eating out w/ folks I'm usually like, "I don't care where we go, just no chains!" The only exception is local chain DiBella's.

There is a Canes chicken place that I have never tried maybe I’ll go there.

KFC today tastes nothing like the KFC of forty years ago. I don't know which ingredients of "the colonel's secret recipe" they changed but they've ruined its once yummy flavor.
Cei-U! I summon the putrid poultry!
