KFC today tastes nothing like the KFC of forty years ago. I don't now which ingredients of "the colonel's secret recipe" they changed but they've ruined its once yummy flavor. Cei-U! I summon the putrid poultry! I think the recipe is the same but now it is so massed produced for the lunch and dinner crowd that it all just sits under those lamps for hours🤢

As a Canadian, I feel it is almost my patriotic duty to defend Kraft Mac & Cheese, known here as Kraft Dinner (and just "KD" by everyone). I would be lying if I said we didn't have several boxes in our cupboard at all times. Like has been said, one of the best comfort foods. Homemade mac & cheese is great too I love real mac and cheese.. made from actual cheese and actual pasta. The imitation that comes from the small thin boxes I don't get why people eat.

I summon the putrid poultry I am sure they have changed to tasteless factory chicken and chemicals instead of spices. Like McD fries which are made from a potato starch slury, not potatoes. I also avoid chains and would never buy at Chic FIL A and their homophobic owners.

This is not true. McDonald's fries are made from potatoes just like they always have been. A huge number of them are grown in the counties I live and work in and, up until recently, almost all McDonald's fries were processed at the J.R. Simplot plant in Heyburn Idaho. I guarantee that they are not made of a "potato starch slurry."

I summon the putrid poultry! KFC from yesteryear had its ass kicked by Pioneer Chicken. That chain made some incredibly tasty chicken!
...then the recipe changed in the 80s, and it was as horrendous as the chain which bought Pioneer--Popeye's.

I'll say this about Batman '66, at least it did have some of the villains from the comics (even if the characterization was somewhat different). After that we never got any actual comic book villains on the small screen (at least in live action) until the 1990 Flash series (to be fair, the 50s Superman live action series also was missing comic villains).

O'Neil and Adams Green Lantern/Green Arrow run. My disdain for Green Lantern/Green Arrow knows no bounds because of how O'Neil wrote Hal as a bumbling idiot who needed to come to terms with the fact that he was nothing more than a pawn for the Guardians/Lantern Corps On the flipside, I do enjoy his interpretation of Ollie, especially in the Mike Grell run That being said, I really don't read much of O'Neil's work and don't really care for his writing style (I've tried numerous times to get into his Question run, but it ain't my cup of tea) I pulled out my DVD Batman 66 set and watched a few episodes. Man, It was hard to sit through. A single episode of it comes on after Svengoolie on MeTV on Saturday nights and I always look forward to it. It's a bit over the top with it's camp sometimes, but it is a fun show I don't get the hype about Mac and cheese George, get you a box of Kraft Thick And Creamy, toss in some peas and add a dash of Taco Bell Mild Sauce. You won't be disappointed. Baked Mac & Cheese is not that great in my opinion

Which is not a starch slurry. And most of those are in absolutely minuscule amounts and are largely used to ensure that the fries can be transported and retain the same quality. I assume you hand cut all your fries rather than using frozen fries.

I summon the putrid poultry! I think the recipe is the same but now it is so massed produced for the lunch and dinner crowd that it all just sits under those lamps for hours🤢 No, 'cause Col Sanders was griping about the franchises and the company letting standards slip, back in the late 70s. The stuff was good, back then; I can't stomach it, now. Popeyes is too greasy, which will have me in the bathroom in 20 minutes, expressing my disdain, if you know what I mean. Quite frankly, I haven't come across a restaurant fried chicken, since the 80s, that I thought was any good. Now, I had some tremendous fried chicken, supplied by the ladies of the church, when we had my dad's memorial service, in South Carolina. Also an awesome sweet potato cobbler that was to die for. As for Mac & Cheese? If you don't like it, you aren't making it right! I always liked Kraft and some other generic variants, growing up and that is still pretty good, though my digestive system is less happy with the processed cheese. Stouffers has a decent microwave mac & cheese, but I follow my father's family trick of adding a bit of mustard, to give it a little tang. Same for grilled cheese sandwiches. I also won't give Chick-Fill-A any business, though my boss' son works there and he has brought it in, from time to time. I'm not impressed with it. Another greasy chicken. Also won't do Outback Steak House, partially due to an expose, back in the 90s, about how they pressured their employees to contribute to a fund, that they claimed was for charity, but was actually used to lobby against labor initiatives, like minimum wage increases. Add to the fact that they undercook steaks and when I expressed my displeasure with a "well done" steak that was pinker than a bunny's nose, I got excuses from the manager, until I told him I wanted it well done, no pink, or I walk and don't pay, regardless of the fact I was there with my brother and sister-in-law.

I consider it nasty, gooey slop at its core, but food of that kind (easy to make) seems to remove all sins of the boxed version.

Ghost Rider (admittedly, I've only read the 90s and up material, but I just cant get into the stories involving him).

Didn't like Johnny looking like the Terminator in the 90s....
