Wasn't too keen on this comment in Punisher Max 44....not a fan of dissin' God. I'd like to get my hands on Ennis for that one.

Although the character doesn’t seem like the type of person that would put their faith in God.

I can think of plenty of mediocre writers that ticked me off at times...
In terms of favourite writers, I'm struggling. For a while I really rated what Grant Morrison was doing, and We3 ticked me off for being really really awful (though I'm aware a lot of people love it). But then again, I've probably not read a Morrison comic I rated highly since 2001ish, so calling him a favourite no longer applies. Edit: To be fair, I've simply not read much of his recent work, so I might have missed some gems.
Miller ticked me off when he went from industry leading awesomeness as writer and artist to being inept at both in a very very short space of time, but I hear he was struggling with severe alcoholism, which is just sad. 😔

Dave Sim's editorial pages, which had been pretty interesting for years, became downright unbearable when he went down several rabbit holes in a row. They were like the rambling of an embarrassing uncle who spends too much time on the internet. Hard to tell when we reached critical mass, but it was around the time of the Hemingway storyline.

John Byrne really honked me off when he started bringing his Oxfordian beliefs into his writing and started attributing quotes fro Shakespeare's plays to Edward de Vere, 17th Earl of Oxford, rather than William Shakespeare.

I was a huge fan of Grant Morrison’s and was really looking forward to his X-Men run. And then I read it. It ticked me off in a bunch of different ways.

Pots of people seemed to be big fans of that too! I read that Morrison wasn't happy with a chunk of it, as editorial ran roughshot over him. When he left he said he was finished with Marvel forever 😅🤦♂️

Morrison's good at falling out with people- the long running chaos magic feud with Moore, or the more recent falling out with long time buddy Millar, who apparently stole some of Morrison's ideas- this being despite the fact they'd worked together previously, with Morrison having voluntarily ghost written for Millar on a few occasions. Morrison commented that if he bumps into him in the future he would ideally be in a car doing 100mph. 😂

I rather liked We3, my only complaint about it that I could 'see the strings' as it tried to emotionally manipulate the audience.

Michael Moorcock has said similar things about Morrison; so, what goes around comes around.

I've heard rumor that Morrison wrote most of Red Son. Any clue what else with Millar's name was ghostwritten? I'd nominate the Riverrun arc in Swamp Thing, which is pretty much a precursor to Multiversity.
