Unknown Jack Kirby ArtCan anyone here please tell me who she is? The person that sold this artwork did not and my mind is drawing a blank. Any assistance on identifying this great artwork would be most appreciative. It's a reproduction from an original artwork. Got this at a good price.

Judging by the length of her neck, that would be the Astounding Giraffe Woman. Never quite took off like Spider-Man (or even Ant Man)

Jack Kirby - Kamandi Most of the artwork that I've purchasing are reproduction Artwork and I usually get them around $6.95 to $9.95 a piece. But, I when I decided to check out Kamandi - this artwork that I do not own is around $14.95 and it's a little steep for a reproduction. I'm going to wait until April of this year when it's goes down to $10.95 per copy. I've won't be sharing anymore artwork until late March and early April when it's on sale.

Simon thank you very much for this piece of information here and I just saw the other two pictures too. So, I'm going back to that store and get the remaining pictures and my collection will be complete. Thanks for this - you have been most helpful!

That's not how I learned archery. Right hand, right side. If you used the left side it would go all crooked. My gut feeling was that you were right... but a bit of googling suggests that we're both wrong and our esteemed simian contributor has it right: www.learnarchery.com/basicarcheryinstruction9steps.htmlNotwithstanding that, that GA pose looks really wrong - I don't see how it would be possible to stand square-on to the bow with the hips, and rotate only the shoulders to draw the bow like that. Just watched this gone viral video of this archery god among men which addresses this very issue. This guy does ridiculously amazing things with the old bow and arrow (check out the very last stunt) and would embarrass Hawkeye, Robin Hood, Green Arrow and Legolas..

Wow! Okay, I was wrong (but, I suspect, so was Kirby). This would help explain some of the very rapid firing rates that the medieval English bowmen could achieve. I had always assumed - been lead to believe - that they had their arrows lined up, sticking into the ground or a container like modern field archery which again is done from a static, fixed shooting position. Doesn't make much sense when you come to think of it to leave your ammunition stuck in the ground if you have to beat a hasty retreat - especially when it will be immediately fired at your fleeing back.
The question now is, do I show this to my 10 year old daughter who is the archer in the family? Especially on a club night.

Tribes Trilogy by Jack Kirby
Complete Collection of Kirby's Art 1976 WorksA dear friend of mine got a hold of friend of his and he order from a member of Jack Kirby's Family to acquire REPRODUCTIONS of the original art that measured 11x17 altogether. I managed to track down and acquire these three artwork from Jack Kirby Estate and they are happy to get them for me. I had to go to several sources to acquire these three and it's wasn't an easy thing to do. I paid $57.00 (plus shipping) for the whole collection and that's a fair price of these. I've just uploaded these images yesterday and happy to share them today!

Galactus Poster by Jack KirbyIt's measured 3.5' x 7' - and it's a keeper. I had a hard time getting uploaded to my Imgur Account. Is that actually Kirby? That looks to me like John Byrne doing Kirby-esque. The face is really Byrnish, and the muscles look much more like Byrne than Kirby, particularly the arms and chest.
