My pull list these days consists of the following:
Archie Afterlife with Archie Life with Archie Betty and Veronica Hawkeye Astro City Saga
And... that's it.
Life with Archie is ending, which will drop me down to six titles. Which is actually where I am at currently, as I just started reading Saga and they are on hiatus. So Saga will basically replace Life with Archie on my pull list.
I have no interest any longer in either the DC or Marvel universes, sad to say. Hawkeye is very good, but when it ends, I don't see myself picking up anything else from Marvel unless it is also more or less self contained and by creators I really like.
I also buy stuff from Archie's recently relaunched Red Circle line. At the moment they aren't publishing anything, as they have a new guy in charge of Red Circle who is planning out the direction of the line or something. But when they get around to it, I will likely be buying that stuff as well. New Crusaders was very good, but for some reason they scuttled the follow up mini series, which was supposed to come out last year. The Fox had some excellent art, but the story was just okay at best for me. The two titles did re-establish the Red Circle universe with a new status quo, though, so it's a good foundation. Curious to see what they do with it all.

Image: So much Image titles seem so good these days. I'm definitely in for Saga, Fatale, Rat Queens and anything by Joe Casey as well as trying out various other titles at this point. Somehow never was interested in the Walking Dead though. I hear you on that, and I know a lot of people that are initially turned off at the premise. If it helps, though, at my suggestion and against his inclinations, I persuaded a friend of mine who hates zombie fiction to try it since it's not really a zombie book per se, and he loved it. So, if you could ever be persuaded, give it a try? It's super addictive and really engrossing. I know at this point the brand is too big for it's own good, though, and hype will surely make a purely neutral experience impossible. Is there any GREAT current Marvel or DC stuff? My interest in DC was waning before the New 52, and that about killed it within a few months. Marvel to me lately seems to be more interested in milking the properties for cash. Watering down and kinda dumping on the X-Line coupled with the price increase to $3.99 for most everything got me to drop basically all my Marvel titles, but I may be overlooking things.

Our local library got the two Walking Dead omnibi in and I read the first, after slogging through the equivalent of 8 trades of material, I had had enough. It was decent, but reading it became a slog eventually and I had no desire to try tackling the second Omnibus. I love Charlie Adlard's artwork, but not a fan of Kirkman's writing really, didn't like his Marvel stuff before he started walking Dead either, so it's not unique to Walking Dead. The only thing he's involved with I really liked is Thief of Thieves. -M

All-New Ghost Rider has been insanely fun. The Wake is pretty cool. Serenity Leaves in the Wind because Firefly. Pretty Deadly has been excellent. I'm enjoying this as well but I think the second volume of Star Wars Legacy has been a bit better. I've been hesitant to pick up any other Star Wars books because of Marvel acquiring the license. I thought the first issue was a lot of fun which I've come to expect from Jeff Parker. His Aquaman is decent and Batman '66 is great. The Gold Key revivals (Turok, Magnus, Solar, Dr. Spektor) Turok has been good, the first two Magnus issues are okay, haven't picked up Solar yet and hadn't realized Dr. Spektor was even out yet. This has been alright. The latest space issue was pretty fun but for the most part I prefer the novels. I picked up The Red Spider sequel not to long ago and enjoyed it. I think it was called Flight into Fear. Frankenstein Alive, Alive (Wrightson all the way baby) I was surprised when the third issue finally came out recently. Long time in the making. Agree Bernie Wrightson's artwork is incredible. Between this and Black Widow I've really been on a spy kick lately. The Mike Del Mundo artwork in the first issue was incredible. George A. Romero's Empire of the Dead Act One (mini)-not sure I am on for Act Two since Maleev's art was big draw for Act One) I'm liking the little twist he added to the zombie apocalypse. Plus tying in one of the main characters to Barbara from Night of the Living Dead was pretty cool. I'm glad they returned to the backups and Jonah finally returned to the Wild West but dislike some of the writers choices like [spoil]abruptly killing off Gina and restoring Hex's face[/spoil]. This is my current favorite Image title along with Rat Queens. Francesco Francavilla's artwork has been amazing! I loved his Doctor Who Prisoners of Time covers as well.

D'oh I forgot Afterlife with Archie (and the recent Fox mini) when I listed my pulls.
Dr. Spektor's not out yet, but spent a lot of time talking to Mark Waid about it earlier this month during the lulls at Gem City Con as our table was across form where he and Christy were set up in artist alley.

I'm years behind on most comics I follow, my pull list is tiny. Can't wait for the upcoming return of Usagi Yojimbo, and the Groo/Conan special. The only current monthly I read is Walking Dead, but I pull some indies with less frequent releases. Some annually, some on no set schedule.

I haven't had a pull list or bought single issues in about 7 years. But I follow a lot of things in trade. I don't know if I recall all of what.
Captain America, Amazing Spider-Man, Daredevil, Hawkeye, Usagi Yojimbo, Conan, Age of Bronze, Astro City, Unwritten, Walking Dead, Saga, Nowhere Men, Mind Mgmt, Bandette, and probably a handful of others, plus whatever strikes my fancy.

I've been getting the Dark Horse Conan trades used when I can. It's an awesome series. I've read a few issues of Age Of Bronze and loved those as well. I need to search out some of those trades.

Hey, ironchimp! Have you tried ordering it directly from Uncivilized Books? If they won't ship internationally, let me know. They're situated right here in Minneapolis. Tom Kaczynski, the publisher, drops off stock at the collective bookstore I help run, and he's co-publishing a book this year with 2D Cloud, who I do sales & fulfillment work for. I could get the books from Tom and then ship them through 2D Cloud.
