I think JJ is just better than Daredevil series 1, which is better than DD series 2. Not so much of the fighting, but more head games and nasty and often unpredictable plot twists.

Im really enjoying DD Season 2, probably moreso than the first, and am now undecided whether JJ is the best or not. However the thing about JJ that really struck me is it may be the first series Ive seen which shows just how damn big your cities are. Sure you see all the skyscrapers etc on everything else, but that and DD really brought home to me how big the buildings are, and how unrealistic the reality of being a non-powered hero would be. The time it takes to run across rooftops, past water towers, jump building to building, etc, they would only ever be able to work a neighbourhood, not an entire city like NY. Hell some of you fullas live in cities that are 4 to 5 times the population of my entire country, I just have no frame of reference.

A lot of rumors floating around that Marvel and Netflix are going to be green-lighting series for Moon Knight, Ghost Rider, and Blade in the near future.

Word out of San Diego is that Netflix has ordered a season 3 for Daredevil. Haven't heard anything on any new Marvel series for Netflix yet, but there is a Luke Cage panel scheduled and Joe Q is supposed to be debuting a trailer for a Marvel tv series at his Cup o' Joe panel (most likely to be the Cage trailer or perhaps the Cloak and Dagger trailer as those are the only 2 known to have filmed/been filming-unless he goes against the trend and screens a Fox trailer for Legion).

Edit just saw that Cage and Defenders had trailers hit tonight at SDCC so that answers that.

In an interview with the president of Netflix, he mentioned the new season of Daredevil (#3) and season 2 of Jessica Jones are coming, but not until 2018.

I've been watching season 2 again. I'm guessing that the Chaste from Stick's story in episode 8 is actually Matt and the warriors he gathers are the other members of the Defenders.

I'm a bit behind here but I just picked up Daredevil season 2 on Blu-ray over the weekend so I know what I will be binge watching this week. Unfortunately I couldn't find season 1 to rewatch it so I guess I'll probably have to order it online. The store did have Luke Cage though but not Jessica Jones and I didn't want to jump ahead. So far I've watched the whole first disc which contains the first four episodes and now I'm half way through disc 2. I really like how they wasted no time getting into the Punisher stuff. I thought Jon Bernthal acted his ass off during the cemetery scene. The Elektra scenes have been good so far and I felt the actress fit the role as well. The Blu-ray case comes with the awesome Joe Quesada artwork too.

I watched the DD Netflix series when they both came out in 2015 & 2016. This is unquestionably one of the best depictions of a Marvel character in live action series - they really captured the Frank Miller '80's DD extremely well, and did a great job of updating the story/characters to the 21st century.
One of the the biggest strengths of the Netflix Marvel shows is the casting - they do an amazing job of casting actors/actresses that really fit the comic characters. In DD especially, the casting of Matt/DD, Foggy, Karen Page, Elektra, The Punisher & especially the Kingpin/Wison Fisk were all spot-on.

Finished season 3 tonight. Better than season 2, and it’s a real pity that it’s apparently the last. Luckily, the show gives us a proper conclusion.
That cast was simply perfect, and the classic storylines that were adapted were treated very efficiently on the small screen. This is a great example of a comic-book adaptation done right, one that satisfies newcomers and old Daredevil fans alike.
Sigh... How quickly do three seasons go.

I'm really backed up on the whole Netflix Marvel set and I must admit I'm struggling to build the enthusiasm to watch them - I got 4 or 5 episodes into Luke Cage and it was just dull as dishwater, and my desire to watch them just evaporated. Hopefully I'll get around to Punisher 2 and DD3 at some point, but not sure I'll ever finish LC2 or even start IF2

This is a great example of a comic-book adaptation done right, one that satisfies newcomers and old Daredevil fans alike. Sigh... How quickly do three seasons go. Just finished s3 and yes, I think one of the reasons I rate DD the best of the Marvel tv shows is that the casting and the acting is the best in any of them - the Kingpin first and foremost, but really, across the board with all the major characters.
As for s3 itself, it was excellent. If I had to criticise anything I'd say Bullseye could have been handled a little better - I thought they made him and his origin too dependent on the Kingpin (similar to the problem I had with Two-Face in the Batman movie); also, while his ability to throw things with uncanny accuracy makes for a really cool visual effect, it was played up a bit too much in his fight scenes with DD, where he was outclassed too easily in the hand-to-hand stuff: that could have been done with a bit more subtlety, I thought. Still, really enjoyed the series and as I say, in my eyes, by far the best of the Netflix marvel shows. Hope they can carry it on with the same cast, etc whenever the Disney stuff gets going.
