Once again, I have absolutely no right to throw out the next challenge, but no one else is doing so Okay, this one is COMPLETELY unfair. I acknowledge this. Indulge me, just the same: Stephen King to Yolande Pijcke You ready.... Stephen King co-wrote American Vampire #1 with Scott Snyder. Snyder did Superman Unchained with Jim Lee. Jim Lee and Paul Gulacy both contributed stories to 9-11: The World's Greatest Comic book Writers & Artists Tell Stories to Remember Gulacy and McGregor did Sabre. McGregor wrote only story Pijcke ever worked on. -M

I was editing when you responded the first time as I realized I skipped the step and mixed up McGregor/Moench in my scrawled notes.

Quicker route:
Stephen King did the preface to Batman #400, written by Doug Moench.
Moench and Gulacy -- Master of Kung Fu, Six from Sirius, Batman, take your pick.
and then...
"Gulacy and McGregor did Sabre.
McGregor wrote only story Pijcke ever worked on."

Well I'm going to get this right anyway, even if it means LOTS of cheating via google And let me just say that I'm stunned to learn it doesn't look like Dick Sprang and Jerry Siegel EVER overlapped on a comic. It's almost like they intentionally avoided one another on those early World's Finest issues. Bernard Bailey and Jerry Siegel created the Spectre. Jerry Siegel and Curt Swan collaborated on Superman #153 Curt Swan did the cover of Superman #123 while Dick Sprang did the interior art. Dick Sprang did the covers for John Ostrander's story in Detective Comics #622-624 John Ostrander and Tom Mandrake did the 1990s Spectre series. Sam Hamm to Ralph Macchio.

Hamm to Macchio is one step-Denny O'Neil. Hamm and O'Neil did the Batman movie adaptation and Macchio was editor for most of O'Neil's run on Daredevil post-Miller.
now...David Aja and Ernie Chan/Chua.
