Gil Kane wrote "The art of comics" with Will Eisner in His name is savage #1 (it's a discussion more than an essay, but still...) Eisner collaborated with Gerhard (and Dave Sim) on the story The Spirt vs Cerebus (or was it Cerebus vs the Spirit?) in Cerebus Jam #1.
Next challenge: Mario Hernandez and Russ Manning!

Sean Chen drew Iron Man #1 which Kurt Busiek wrote; previously, Kurt had written Wonder Woman 318, which Irv Novick drew.
Your next mission, should you choose to accept it: Bob Montana and Spain Rodriguez.

Whoops! Roquefort beat me to it, with exactly the same solution I came up with (must have been the only book Kurt and Irv ever did together).
Unfortunately for me, Roquefort's challenge delves into the undergrounds, which aren't really my field.

Sean Chen drew Iron Man #1 which Kurt Busiek wrote; previously, Kurt had written Wonder Woman 318, which Irv Novick drew. Your next mission, should you choose to accept it: Bob Montana and Spain Rodriguez. Bob Montana and Charles Addams worked together on training films during World War II. Charles Addams drew an illustration for Ray Bradbury's short story "Homecoming" published in Mademoiselle circa 1946. Richard Corben illustrated Bradbury's "A Sound of Thunder" for Ray Bradbury Comics # 1 (Topps 1993 - but the story might be reprinted from earlier, not sure) Corben illustrated a story in the underground horror comic anthology Skull # 5, with cover by Spain Rodriguez. Sounds like a cool comic! As usual, I suspect the connection could be made with fewer links. I'm also suprised at how often WW II training stuff has come into play here, I'm sure I've used it in another CCF six degrees challenge (I think with Grey Morrow). For the next challenge let's try Frank Miller and William Moulton Marston. Hopefully its not too easy.

For the next challenge let's try Frank Miller and William Moulton Marston. Hopefully its not too easy. It wasn't! Marston rewrote a Gardner Fox script for a JSA story in All-Star Comics #13; Gardner Fox wrote Tomb of Dracula #6, which Gene Colan pencilled; Gene Colan drew a Detectives Inc. miniseries that Don McGregor wrote; Don McGregor worked on Daredevil with Frank Miller. Next challenge: Rex Mason and Carla Speed McNeil.

Ok so Rex Mason did the art on a Turok story that was reprinted in Dark Horse's Turok series, which also featured the colors of Joe Villarubia.
Villarubia colored part of Action Comics #5 (new52) which featured the main story by Grant Morrison.
Morrison and Greg Rucka worked together on the 52 weekly series.
Rucka wrote Queen and Country, which Carla SPeed McNeil did the art for a few issue s(17 & 19 at least).
