Kubert alludes to himself again. (But he's entitled.) October, 1960 November, 1966 I wonder if it was Kubert or Kanigher driving the repeats--RK seemed like the type of editor who didn't mind repeating something that worked before (ditto Weisinger and Schwartz), along with the orientation toward a rapid turnaround of readers. |

I'm sure RK didn't care about repeating plots and characters, just based on how many times he did it. Kubert had to do so many covers that, as I said, he was entitled to redo his old covers in a pinch. How many "All clear here, Rock" covers did he do, after all? |
