Kubert alludes to himself again. (But he's entitled.) October, 1960 November, 1966 I wonder if it was Kubert or Kanigher driving the repeats--RK seemed like the type of editor who didn't mind repeating something that worked before (ditto Weisinger and Schwartz), along with the orientation toward a rapid turnaround of readers.

I'm sure RK didn't care about repeating plots and characters, just based on how many times he did it. Kubert had to do so many covers that, as I said, he was entitled to redo his old covers in a pinch. How many "All clear here, Rock" covers did he do, after all?
