Christmas is only days away, so before the thoughtful, busy day arrives, here's an appropriately themed homage cover group-- Supersnipe Comics V3 #9 (1947) and DC's Limited Collectors' Edition C43 presents Christmas with the Super-Heroes (1976) Interesting that Wonder Woman is sitting with Cain and not Batman. I wonder if they were dating when this was taken. I don't recall Cain and Batman ever dating.

Thought this was reminiscent enough to post here though swipe/homage is a little much...

I knew I had to post it as soon as I saw it - an homage not to an earlier image but to something actually happening at that moment. Glad you enjoyed it!

@stevo 's winning WW cover in the recent Cover Contest --specifically WW's pose--reminded me of an older WW cover by Irwin Hasen, namely #45 (red background below)... but when I checked I saw they weren't really similar. But then I noticed Andru's #103

Thought this was reminiscent enough to post here though swipe/homage is a little much... Interesting comparison, and aside from how cool the pose is, both Batman and Hawkman seem to be moving in a way that requires them to either reach out or balance themselves.

Our Fighting Forces #35 (July, 1958) and Star Wars#75 (September, 1983).

Another reversed perspective. OFF is from March 1959; Tales to Astonish from August 1962. (Of course, I just noticed that there's no ledge in the ToA! I'd never realized that.)
