Caught this by surprise! This is a weird one to me. The homage has taken careful pains to copy all sorts of little details found in the original to the point that even the shadows and scratches on the table line up, but when it comes to actually recreating the message and emotion of the first cover - conveying the agony that this guy is enduring - we get a very bored looking girl. It feels like I'm looking at a very talented photographer taking a picture of a very terrible actor. It is a great find though!

Captain Life Experience Chaos, brought to you by Kirby with Giacoia (#107, 1968) and Starlin with Sinnott (#162, 1973).

Nice! I thought there was another Iron Man cover with the same theme, or perhaps I'm thinking of a DC cover with Adam Strange?

Is this the one you're thinking of, tarkintino? (Obviously came out long before either of the Iron Man issues...)

Inspired by two covers posted in the latest Classic Cover Contest(computers), specifically Prince Hal's Adventure Comics #340 (1966) and brianf's The Defenders #5 (1973), here's a strong case for an homage cover. We have 3 heroes fighting a giant robot/computer, with the female in the grip of the robot, one flying/attacking hero, and the third struggling against the robot on the ground--

And in the same vein... ( Sgt. Rock 318 reprints "Stone Age War from OAAW 220)
