I'm finally catching up with this thread and I see that no one has mentioned the fact that the character Frankie Raye was named after a pseudonym that was used in the mid-60s by inker Frank Giacoia - "Frankie Ray". I think Frank may have been Marvel's art director at the time the character was introduced.
