Phil Coulson (Agent from Shield) - Supporting Character for Iron Man / AvengersFirst Appearance: ?? / Need Help Here! I'm totally unclear on his first appearance in Marvel Comics and I only knew him for the first of many blockbusters movies that he starred in and one of my goals later on is to brush up on his appearances in Marvel Comics and hopefully have a better picture of him in the near future. The cover that I showed you above is a cover that I don't know nothing about. I really do not know (honest) of his first appearance in Marvel Comics and I was hoping someone here can help. That cover is a fake. No such comic exists. Thanks Tin, and I really appreciate this information!

Richard Rory Supporting Character to Man Thing and She HulkFirst Appearance: Man-Thing Volume 1, #2 Note to All: I don't have any connections of Richard Rory in Man-Thing because I get confused with Marvel's Swamp Thing for personal reasons. I did not read any of the Man-Thing in my Youth and I was focusing on Swamp Thing because of the brilliant art of DC Comics Penciller Bernie Wrightson; who by the way made both Halloween and Christmas list here in CCF. Before he started out in Marvel Universe He was a disc jockey working in a radio station in Ohio for an outfit called WNRV. According to my dear friends at the Comic Book store he became a supporting character to Man-Thing first and later She Hulk. Earlier on this thread he was a briefly a member of the Dynamic Defenders of which I have no knowledge of and I was surprised to learn this. Later on, he became a supporting character to Jessica Walters - better known to us as She Hulk and this showed the human emotions, and started having luck and open up a new era for him. He cared so much to She Hulk and admired her her skills as a lawyer, her creativity, her humor, and her compassion ... and that's attracts She Hulk to him in a more personal way possible. I read a lot of She Hulk in my youth and this shows the great character of Richard Rory and that's why he is on this list of 50 Best Supporting Character ... Great Splash Page of Richard RoryHe is a winner in my book because of his relationship with Jessica Walters - Savage She-Hulk! I started reading this book and that's how I came across Richard Rory!

Rick Jones - Supporting Character to the Incredible HulkFirst Appearance: The Incredible Hulk #1 (May 1962) Before we begin, I did not know that he became A-Bomb pictured below and I hardly knew this character at all and having said that - I just wanted to share that with all of you here. Three Pictures of the Origin Story of the HulkHe was an innocent bystander that stood the way of a Gamma Bomb test of whom you all quite familiar with. What made him that important a character? ... the next two pictures explains it all to you!
He had to stay with him at all times and what a burden that was; being an associate of the HULK is often requires great sacrifice on his part to ensure that he goes back to Doctor Bruce Banner. Being a Guardian of one of the most powerful Marvel Hero is quite an undertaking that no one wants to have.

Red Guardian - Alexei Shostakov, Supporting Character for Black WidowPlease read the link for background information regarding Black Widow involving the Red Guardian. It's filled with great information. Thanks. Black Widow LinkFirst Appearance: Avengers #43 One of the most athletic, powerful, worthy opponent to Captain America ever had a villain that's more than an opponent to the legendary Captain America and one of my most favorite Marvel Villain that Captain America ever faced. Fast, Mobile, Elusive, Cunning, and more than a match ... he's the RED GUARDIAN! In these two panels - Colonel Ling is trying to impress his Comrade General - General Brushov, the skills and the tenacity of the sheer ability of the Red Guardian and trying to convince him that he is a truly worthy opponent for Captain America. I just brush up on that issue a week ago and I was stunned by his ability to take on Captain America and he was more than a match - with the drive and determination to do whatever it's takes to defeat his American foe. RED GUARDIAN

Skeets - Supporting Character to Booster GoldFirst Appearance: Booster Gold #1 A highly functional multi-purpose flying robot that assist Booster Gold who is from the 25th Century to act like a companion (more like a friend to me) in our own present time frame. His powers and abilities are quite unique and that's made it very bearable in the life of Booster Gold and others notably Blue Beetle. Basically he's ... The Original SkeetsSkeets is a 25th-century security robot with artificial intelligence. He is capable of flight, cognitive thinking, and voice projection, which is all considered highly advanced for 21st century Earth. He also has historical records and headlines which give him a vast knowledge of what will happen between the 21st and 25th centuries. He possesses numerous miniature tools and weapons kept within his shell, and is also equipped with a powerful energy blaster. He is apparently immune to reality and temporal manipulation. He's a very capable assistant to Booster Gold. First Meeting with Superman - I don't know what comic book it's came from but it's a cool picture of them here.

Red Guardian: I have read that story in Avengers Omnibus. An interesting character with a cool costume. Black Widow and all those 60s Russian characters associated with her brought international intrigue, drama, and challenges for the Avengers and company.

I always preferred the second Red Guardian, from Defenders.
