Chris Evans and Hayley Atwell Captain America First Avenger Movie - 2011 Some of my favorite images in that movie ... I was so disappointed that these two wonderful performers in that movie did not appeared again at all it's was a letdown of letdowns in my own opinions and I just find this movie a breath of fresh air when it's appeared in 2011 despite so many heartaches in this grand film that really put the spotlight on Chris Evans who redeemed himself from that god awful performance of Human Torch a while back. I just loved Hayley Atwell in this movie and her wearing that red dress was a stunning example of beauty and brought certain charm into this movie. Anyway, both them had great scenes together and this one from You Tube really cracks me up The Jealousy Scene was a prime example of that and that alone really showed who boss here and that's makes it great. I just wanted more of them together and that's one of the many reasons why I liked this movie so much. I have already watched this movie half dozen times and never seems to get tired from it. A wonderful movie and I considered it one of the best that Marvel Comics ever made.

Best Costume in Modern Era Captain America - Marvel FilmsOf all the costumes after 1990 and beyond this is the best costume that Marvel Comics/Marvel Films ever made and I'm saying that for a fact and I do like Iron Man's costumes as well but there are some variations of that (Iron Man) costume(s) that I had a hard time separating the fact - but this costume was colorful and fit well in the time that this was made. Chris Evans had the right body and I'm glad that he bulk up for this role and I always felt that his role as Captain America was by far a better role for him than that idiotic Human Torch role a way back. It's funny that I'm saying this ... the best role and costume was Chris Evans Captain America and Iron Man's own Robert Downey Jr. were the best two roles in Marvel Films history and I had a hard time separating the two and believe me ... I felt that they are both born into it. Getting back to the worst it was Chris Evans - Human Torch in the two films of the Fantastic Four and I find it quite odd that I'm mentioning here in this thread that Chris Evans had one great role and one bad role in the same breath that I'm speaking right here. Anyway, Chris Evans was born to play Captain America and always the best one in my own judgment and care. I just find him true to the bone and most of all he had the pure athletic skills and body to be Captain America. Chris Evans is the best there is.

My Favorite Captain America Book is Captain America #255 40th Anniversary Book
Here's the Cover and it's great splash page inside Captain America #255 Great Blog detailing Captain America #255I'm glad Marvel Comics did this on it's 40th Anniversary showcasing Captain America as a Living Legend and knowing that it was a treat for me to read this iconic story again and I just wanted to share that this story of whom all of you - Marvel Fans knows about it in great details shows how he got started and all that. I suggest that you read the link if you want a refresher course and it's pretty easy and quick reading outlining many of the key stuff inside this issue. I just love this issue and I wanted to share this issue on a personal note because it's one of the classiest origin story ever written and something that done so well in the Captain America - The First Avenger Movie starring Chris Evans and Hayley Atwell of whom I have fond memories watching it at least six times since 2011. I'm still mad at Marvel Comics and Marvel Films for not making another movie showing both Evans and Atwell again. Anyway, this is a ground-breaking anniversary issue that's always have a special place in my heart and having said that it's always be my favorite issue of all time.

Captain America Shield - Part 1 of 2Special Thanks to hondobrode for finding the Byrne's picture and I decided to use it today instead! This shield was primary a defensive shield for bullets defecting off it and that's pretty much limits Captain America do anything with it. I consider the shield a part of his uniform and without it is like having Superman without his iconic red cape. I prefer the shield in alternating red and white stripes to represent the flag of the United States and one Marvel Artist came up with a shield (the one in the middle) an another version of that shield and this time added blue in the equation and that's a nice shield but it's made the blue a more prominent color and I did not care for it at the time that created it. One on top is the best one of it's kind and one on the bottom is accidental find in the internet a couple of days ago and I wanted to share that cool picture to all of you here.

Captain America Shield - Part 2 of 2Later on in the Captain America - The First Avenger - Here's the clip from You Tube Land of the introduction of the new shield that can be used for defensive and offensive purposes and it's now have properties of a boomerang that allowed the shield to return to Captain America. I like the beginning of this clip of the gorgeous Hayley Atwell firing a machine gun on the shield to show Captain America what this shield can do for you without saying a word. I just loved this clip! The one in the middle is a cool rendering of that shield - but still the blue kind of overpowers it and that's one shield that I did not care for when they use it sparingly in certain Captain America books that I haven't seen Marvel Comics to use that version. I consider it one of the most iconic symbol of Marvel Comics and without the shield there is no Captain America!

I feel about Cap kind of like some fans say they feel about Superman : he's such a straight arrow and Boy Scout he's kind of boring. That sort of makes sense, but, I love both Cap and Supes, and maybe it's because they really, truly try to do the right thing, which not enough people even try to achieve any more. Corny ? maybe, but it strikes home with me. Now, back to Cap. Much as I love all things Kirby, my favorite version of Cap is John Byrne's. He just has the perfect take on him. A superhero trying to do the right thing, what a concept! Too bad it doesn't happen too much anymore.

Toughest Captain America Opponent - Physically
The Red Guardian is one of the toughest villain/opponent that Captain America had to face in his legendary career and because of that - I consider him a thinking man whom intelligence can read an opponent mind and work his moves for your own advantages. Marvel Directory - Red GuardianI provided all of you an excellent link outlining the history of the Red Guardian that you might find interesting to take a few moments of your time to read it. He had many great fights with Captain America and I always felt that he was pound per pound the most difficult foe that Captain America had to face. I learned to respect him throughout the years and I learned to admire this opponent ability to give our Hero - Captain America a hard time defeating and that's one of the many reasons why Soviet Union kept him under wrap when the right time to use him to defeat American Super Solider and this is one good example of how Steve (Captain America) Rogers has to use every bit of his Super Solider's ability to defeat Red (Alexei Shostakov) Guardian to stop him from Soviet Domination of the World. They had classic fights together and I find him one of the most impressive character in Marvel Universe to combat the Iconic Marvel Comic Superstar - The Legendary Captain America!

Toughest Captain America Opponent - MentallyOf all the foes that Captain America had to face in early days of his legendary career - there is one name embodied more than anything else the world a villain/opponent by the name of RED SKULL ... this iconic Marvel Comic Super Villain - not only the toughest mentally and yet he also tough enough physically. Marvel Directory - Red SkullI even provided you a link to an excellent Marvel Directory that's outlined the vast history of the Red Skull that you've might find interesting to read and I encourage all of you to read it. Johann Schmidt is the NAZI answer to Captain America and what I read first in my first dealing with this character that all NAZI's feared him more than they feared Adolph Hitler of whom Germany created this Super Villain to combat the American Champion, the legendary Captain America. I was stunned when I read this when I was a young boy back then and ever since his name is repeatedly mentioned in most list that I see in the vast confines of the internet that his name is right up there of one of most toughest opponents that Captain America had to face. Anyway, I just wanted to touch base one Physically and one Mentally today of the toughest enemies that Captain America had to face and one thing in common they have the word Red as the first part of their name. Red Skull one of the most terrifying villain that Marvel Comics ever created - even the Nazis feared him more than Adolph Hitler.

Number 13
I will be very busy in the next three days and I'm going to do an initial post on Saturday to reveal Number 13 and I hope to get started on this by Sunday PM and/or Monday AM - I have Water Polo Match tomorrow and Practice on Friday and I got to help my brother with a project on Saturday so I'm going to have some problems getting to Number 13. After that, Number 12 and Number 11 will be also tough to do and I'm thinking that it will take me a month to go through all this and I've might not get this done by February 2017.

Starting Tomorrow - Covering the Golden Age of Justice Society of America!Starting on Saturday the 8th, I will take you all on a journey of the Golden Age of the Justice Society of America through 11 Selected Covers and I will try to pinpoint the importance of that cover alone and why it's a significant one indeed. I will also share one other thing that bothers me from the day that JSA arrives and the significant of the membership of such group. I've talked to many people at the store that I go to in preparation of the Golden Age of the Justice Society and that alone is based on them and my own opinion that's been weighed heavily in own judgment that's I felt it is one of the most significant cover of the Golden Age of the Justice Society of America. I'm making some final adjustments now and I will be fully ready by tomorrow to share the first Cover and it's significance of it and why it is so significant. I hope to have it done by Monday AM before I go to my Water Polo Match and after I share all of this to you ... I will move on to Number 12 sometimes next week.
