Because of the lack of interest of the Silverhawks - I decided to stop right there and move on to
Number 48 ...
I will start on Number 48 on Sunday and hopefully it's will gain some interest here in CCF Land.

I don't think it's disinterest so much as mild bewilderment. From my POV, clearly the Silverhawks never reached Britain.

Sorry MG, but like Slam I was busy in college.
I recognize the name but don't think I've ever seen the show.

Silverhawks was a cool cartoon, part of the hour-long block along with Thundercats. As with Thundercats, my favorite Silverhawk appears later in the show, Flashback the time-traveler. I still have my Quicksilver and Mon-Star action figures, complete with bird figures.

Swords of OmensIs Lion-O greatest Weapon - it's powers through the Eye of Thundera. The Eye of Thundera is the source of the ThunderCats Power and gives Lion-O sights beyond sight. It's can do a lot of things as long Lion-O welds it and it's highly reflected too and has the ability to use it against Mumm-Ra own true reflection and revert is powers back to it's more unstable one. One of the most versatile weapons in the ThunderCats arsenal and I just wanted to let everyone knows that's as long Lion-O in his capable hands this sword has unlimited uses and there is nothing you can do to stop it. When I watch the original show - it's has some notations of Green Lantern's Power Ring because Lion-O is the one that has the willpower to use it right and has the wisdom to use it wisely. Pretty Good Video - Sorry the quality isn't there. This video showcase the Sword in the 2011 Season of Cartoon Network

I'm too old to have watched the Thundercats cartoon, but I like Shivaree's song that bears their name. Does anyone know if Snarf was named afer Denis Kitchen's underground comic from the 70s?

Thundercats HO! LOVED this cartoon, the pilot episode was so intense, action-packed, full of exciting possibilities and characters, I was instantly hooked. You hear the theme song, it gets stuck in your head. I even checked out some of Marvel's Star imprint Thundercats comic at that time. I had very few toys from it though, only have a small plastic figure of Lion-O (with Sword of Omens) left now. Favorite 'Cat: Lynx-O, the blind warrior! Between this show, Transformers, and G.I. Joe, I'm amazed that I got any homework done in the afternoons. The recent remake was great too. They developed some terrific new themes for the characters and it's a shame that it was soon cancelled.

String, I did not see the recent remake of the show and I've kicked my pants for not seeing it at all. I was very sad that this show was abruptly cancelled by unknown reasons. I'm glad you were a fan of this show and having said that - I was very surprised to read that Lynx-O was your favorite ThunderCats. My top 3: Lion-O, Panthro, and Cheetara. When, later on the series grew ... I was shocked to see that they added three brand-new ThunderCats ... they are Lynx-O (your favorite), Bengali, and Pumyra. I really like Bengali because he was quite adaptable, fearless, driven, and has some of the qualities of Lion-O and Tygra and they did a fantastic job showcasing him. I'm very happy that you are a fan of this show ...

Complete ThunderCats Team From Left to RightJaga Panthro WilyKat WilyKit Cheetara Lion-O Tygra Snarf Pumyra Bengali Lynx-O I wanted to add one extra note: I was glad that they added another female to the squad by the name of Pumyra so that Cheetara and Wilykit don't feel alone. When they added those three members at the end of the show - it's made the show even more balanced and meaning. So, this is the complete ThunderCats roster 10 characters and one lovable mascot Snarf!

Yup, I remember Thundercats. For some reason, Snarf made the biggest impression on me, then Panthro, then Lion-O.
