I have a Marvel Masterworks of some 60s Iron Man stories. The Don Heck artwork is gorgeous and the stories are fun, especially when the Black Widow and Hawkeye show up. Nice interactions between Tony, Happy, and Pepper as well!

Nice interactions between Tony, Happy, and Pepper as well! I'm planning on picking up some of those later this month. They were sensational stories along with the great artwork by Heck.

Some of my favorite Pictures of Iron Man most of them from John Romita Jr.
Part 1 of 2I just loved the Gold Armor from the early days of the Silver Age ... it's so clean and crisp and I loved this picture ever since I saw it a few years ago. I don't recall seeing a Gold Armour Costume with a Red Circle. I just loved this picture for all it's worth showcasing the various armors that Tony Stark wore during his crime-fighting days as Iron Man.

PERSONAL THOUGHTS OF IRON MANTo me, he's a pioneer in terms of a superhero that's totally mechanized and unique. I love Red Tornado of DC Comics and I have a love/hate relationship with Cyborg of which I have a difficult time accepting him. To me, both of the a B heroes and Iron Man is a bona-fide A hero that has a solid track record in everything under the sun. I loved his costume the rich and vivid boldness of Red and Yellow really stands out and that's why I don't care for any other versions including the dreaded Silver Centurion Model. The Classic Iron Man shown by this picture above is truly a classic and always be my favorite because this is what makes him great. Of all Men Superheroes in Marvel Comics he is my truly in second place. Captain America is in third place and eventually I will share my Number One in a day or two and you'll probably know who it is. Iron Man has amazing array of powers and weaponry that so inventive that really amazes you when he puts it all together in one great battle suit. Tony Stark has it all and that's makes him a very dangerous foe to overcome. Wikipedia LinkJust read this link and you'll see why I loved this Superhero! BTW, He is my favorite Avenger and having said that an Avengers Team without Iron Man is like a day without Sunshine. I just can't imagine the Avengers without Iron Man. I loved the early look and here's another picture that I wanted to share is this golden beauty that I truly loved the design of it and I just can't ignore this at all. It's a classic Iron Man in it's early days of Marvel Comics. To me from it's great Cartoons, great books from Tales of Suspense, to the numerous titles that Marvel Comics put out, and the great acting of Robert Downey Jr., and among other things ... Everything that Marvel touches about Iron Man always comes out like a winner to me and that's why I just adore him. Last and not least ... I just loved this logo! The word "Invincible" ... makes it grand!

Great Pin Ups of Iron Man Two great pin ups the top was done by John Romita Jr. I believe. I don't recognise this image, but it looks like an older vintage Iron Man than JRjr's, perhaps by someone like George Tuska.

The first two are indeed by JRjr, as embellished by Bob Layton, but the third one is by Luke McDonnell and Steve Mitchell from the cover of Iron Man #174, and fourth image is by Jerry Bingham and Bob Layton from Iron Man #132.

chaykinstevensI was never had a great memory of writers and artists at all and I only know a few and I'm frankly quite terrible at it and believe me most of that information is trivial in nature. Again, thanks for the information that you've provided for me.

Great Pin Ups of Iron Man chaykinstevens is absolutely correct--this is by George Tuska. It's a blow up from a panel from 1969's Iron Man #19 (Tuska with Johny Craig inks) that was used for a pin-up in Marvel's Greatest Comics #24 (and these two comics were published a mere month and half apart, per Mike's). Loving the Iron Man images you're providing, Juggy; and the commentary by you and everyone.

#7, Spider-Man, Peter Parker - Marvel Comics CharacterPeter Parker - Spider-Man is one of the most talked about Superhero in Marvel Comics History and he got a slew of problems that he has to deal with working the Daily Bugle, and it's horrible J Jonah Jameson, dealing with Gwen Stacy death, girlfriend problems with Mary Jane Watson who later became his wife, Aunt May (taking care of her), dealing with Uncle Ben's death, and being a wallflower during his high school days and being one of the most misunderstood Superheroes in Marvel Universe. I can go on, and on of the numerous problems that he had trying to find a buck to make a decent living and doing the best that he can and fighting for the little people that constantly understands the problems that he alone have. He's a great guy - Peter Parker is a human being first and Superhero second and yet he has to overcome many obstacles to be accepted in the society that he lived in. I just find him a complicated human being with a heart of gold, he's genuine as he gets and one of Stan Lee's greatest gamble of creating a superhero with a Spider prefix - because everyone hates Spiders and he took an educated gamble that pays off in the biggest way possible making him one of the most popular Superhero of all time and that's alone define Marvel Comics in the most unique way possible. He's deserved most of the credit and the wonderful art of Steve Ditko created this master piece of which one of the most valuable Comic Book today - Amazing Fantasy #15Spider-Man has a rouge gallery that alone makes him a prime target and one of his greatest is the Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, and a sentimental favorite of mine that didn't cracked my top 50 is the Sinister Six and this is one of my favorite issues during the early days of the Silver Age of Comics. One of the most incredible Comic Book of 1964!!! He has to contend with the Vulture, Electro, Kraven the Hunter, Doctor Octopus, Sandman, and Mysterio all at once and that alone is a tall order to fill.
