I read a bit of that when I was trying to learn Go... neither stuck with me. I just have never really got into sports fiction... I'd rather actual sports.

Chainsaw Man season 1 was crazy! Definitely not for everyone.

I'll read just about anything if the story is good. Tell me a good, compelling story with decently fleshed out characters and I'll read anything Also, VERY excited about the new Kinnikuman anime that's coming soon. Hopefully it'll lead to the original manga getting a proper localization

My daughter and I have been watching Frieren: Beyond Journey's End recently. It starts off slow, and was difficult for my daughter to understand at first, but we gradually began enjoying it. Last night, we started watching what must have been a new arc in the manga, and holy crap was it exciting. We ended up binge watching a bunch of episodes in a row. Kudos to everyone involved for holding back for so long, then dialing it up to 11. Frieren is also the anime that I'm the most devoted to at the moment (even picked up the manga). Bonus for German speaking readers/watchers as every characters name is their exact character description in German. The slow pace was a high point of the series for me as it's more about the aftermath of the big hero's advenure than the new adventures themselves.

My daughter and I finished watching Frieren yesterday. Great show! We were both really moved by it.
