Sorry about not emphasizing Peter Cushing's role for Merlyn and I felt that he should be the first actor to have two roles in this movie and that alone is a major accomplishment for a great actor he is. In my defense, he doesn't needs much to go on. That's why I did not write much and I don't know Merlyn that much.

Ben Johnson for ClayfaceThis veteran actor of many Westerns is enough to fill in as Clayface's Matt Hagan and I felt that he alone makes a perfect Clayface for this role. I felt that he would be fantastic to play Clayface because he has the veteran knowledge of acting down and has the capabilities to do any role that he can do. Ben, is the right size to play the part and rugged enough to master it and when I see Clayface in the early days of Batman's comics - who in the right mind can play the part. I say this - it's has to be Ben Johnson. Ben has the right tools to play the part and have the savvy to make it work. The problem with Ben, he has the right build and all that - but he's needs to wear a blond wig in this movie. So, both Ava Gardner and Ben Johnson has to wear one for all the right reasons and for sake alone to make their role works for them. I wanted Matt to be a little older and Ben is right man for the job. So, I need a 2nd Blonde Wig to make this movie work and that alone is an easy job for any Director do and most importantly I felt that Ben Johnson's role will appease many of the Western Fans that loved him so much. Ben Johnson for Clayface.

George Sanders as BrainiacI've always consider him a brainy actor and he's one of the most authoritative ones as well and I felt that he has the tools to play him. I've just thinking outside the box here and he's has all the tools to play the part of Brainiac and he's tall, slender, and most importantly makes a very compelling argument to assign him to this role. I just felt that he would make a great addition and a complimentary piece I may add here. He has the resume of an actor to back up and one of my favorite character actor too. I felt that he looks the part and most all has the right villainy to the role masterfully. You've may disagree with me on this and I felt that he deserved to be in this movie and another thing he has Star Power to boot too and one of the most respected actor in that generation. I felt that he often gets overlooked and having him in this role in this movie will do wonders for him. So George Sanders for Brainiac! I've considered Yul Brynner for this role and have him to do both roles in this movie but he's too short to play him and I felt that Yul is a better choice for Red Tornado and Red Tornado can be at any height I want. It's pretty compelling argument that Yul could do both roles and I might change my mind later on. But, I just wanted George to get it because he has the flair and the intelligence to do Brainiac.

Height is pretty meaningless in the movies. It's easy to make actors seem taller than they are. Alan Ladd played the hero and he was 5' 6". Tom Cruise claims to be 5'7" but is probably shorter.

Last of the Injustice League Member Tab Hunter for Black MantaTo me, this is a no-brainer - Tab is very athletic and has all the right tools to play Aquaman's Arch Enemy and therefore his build and other physical attributes served him well. I also felt that this role should be played by a younger actor by Tab and Kirk is 15 years older and that's a little too much on the age part but it's works for me anyway. Tab is a wonderful actor and a favorite of mine as well and he co-starred with Rita Hayworth in They Came to Cordura and played Action Star in several films and to me he's qualified to play Black Manta. Plus the fact, I wanted to have a Teen Star that will attract the Younger Audiences and he'll fit the part nicely and I liked his versatility to do any role possible. That's wrap it up.

Peter Cushing for MerlynNote: Peter Cushing will have two roles in this Movie and I was looking at this picture the other day in the Internet (see below) and he is a dead-ringer for him. If Peter Sellers can do 3 roles in Dr. Strangelove - why not have Peter Cushing to do 2 roles in this JLA Movie! All you have to do is put on a fake stylish goatee and you got this villain hands down! So based on this you have to go Christopher Lee for Ra's al Ghul.

Fantastic Four Casting
I will do a Fantastic Four Casting in the next 7-10 days from now and I'll do the following characters:
Mr. Fantastic Human Torch Invisible Woman The Thing
She Hulk (She once was a FF Member)
Doctor Doom
Galactus Silver Surfer
And, some other surprises as well ... I've may and may not use Galactus and Silver Surfer!
I will use Actors/Actresses from the 70's and the 80's to give this movie a little more modern look and a touch of retro built in it.

Sounds great. Thanks for including She-Hulk. She was the only non-original FF members that I liked in the FF.

Maybe start a new thread for this? It's your work and your call.

I know Fred McMurray's pretty much a lock, and Tom Tyler did a hell of a job in the serial, but lemme tell ya folks, I was watching some old episodes of 'Have Gun Will Travel' and I spotted this feller. Don Megowan was a former football player turned actor. He stood 6'7" and appeared in a bunch of B-movies and TV series. In the episode of 'Have Gun Will Travel' which is the only place I've seen him actually act, he played a slow-witted but generally good natured feller who got caught up with a gang of owlhoots, and he gave a convincing performance as someone who wanted to do the right thing but didn't want to let down his friends. But seriously, could he be any more a dead-ringer for Captain Marvel as drawn by C.C. Beck?
