Playboy just ran an interview with Frank Miller, and of course there are some photos with it. I've noticed recent pictures of him looking, prematurely aged or perhaps not in the best of health. Anyway, he talks a bit about Batman, Superman, Daredevil, 300, Holy Terror, Sin City, Robert Rodriguez, and his "fatwa" ? Frank Miller Playboy interview excerpts

I would have liked to have been able to read the part where he discusses Holy Terror, but I'd have a hard time convincing my wife that that was my reason for purchasing an issue of Playboy, so I'll just have to remain in the dark.
Wow. Some people really Do buy it for the articles...

Maybe being curmudgeonly just ages you faster? That and doing copious amounts of blow in the 80s....

I agree that he doesn't look at all well. I saw a recent picture of him on Facebook the other day, from some media thing associated with the release of Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, and the first think I thought upon seeing his pallid, gaunt features was "shit, has he got cancer?"

LOL
It's amazing how some people age faster than others, but Frank looks, older than he is. Maybe that Hollywood hard-living Sin City lifestyle has put him through the ringer ? Pure speculation on my part as I don't know the man personally, but...

As I mentioned over on Facebook, Miller seems to think he invented the phrase "Dark Knight." Sorry, Frank, Bill Finger coined it waaaaay back in 1940.
Cei-U! I summon the arrogant a-hole (Miller, not Finger... or me)!

Wow. Some people really Do buy it for the articles... LOL. That might be more true nowadays. They have to have something else to sell issues. You can google all the naked women you want for free (or so I've heard...)

It's always possible that he does but has chosen not to disclose it...

Wow. Some people really Do buy it for the articles... Apparently you didn't buy them back in the 60s and 70s (or maybe you did), where Fleming would put out fiction, as well as Bradbury and other luminaries...
The nakedness just hindered the reading..

Is cancer of the personality a thing?

All he needs is a red and green striped sweater and a glove with razor blades welded to the fingers.
