Logos. One of the first things that catches your eye. Also something that is seen repeatedly.

Logos. One of the first things that catches your eye. Also something that is seen repeatedly. Although I voted for 'Best Golden Age Characters', this one would be my runner-up choice.

I voted for logos, though Golden Age characters was tempting.

I voted logos because I like behind-the-scenes, nuts and bolts stuff. And it should be quite a visual stunner.

You heard me ... I've already downloaded 120 Logos like these two above me and I'm going to take a year or more to go through all of these logos and try to rank them from #150 to Number 1. I'm determined to make this thing work and it's will be the craziest Countdown Ever! 150to One!It will start as soon my Batman Thread is Finished!

General Plan of Attack
I'll do two logos at a time and general idea is to share my bottom 50 logos in 25 posts when I can and once I get down to Number 100 and right then ... I'll do one day when I can and it's may take awhile to get down to Number 1.
The way, I figure it ... It's may take a year to go through this and this is going to be my last Countdown and I'm not going to do another one like it.
#101 to #150 - 2 Logos a day (25 posts) when I can ...
#1 to 100 - 1 Logo a day (100 posts) when I can ...
It will start about 2-3 weeks after my Adam West Batman Thread is completed and may take a month to get them in order and this is not an easy thing to do.
My Number 1 has been decided and it's a beauty of a find.
These are the logos that I'm quite familiar with.

I just got my 50 (Honorable) Logos and I'm keeping them in alphabetical order; and I'm going to take some time to make sure that I got the right 50 Logos and then start posting them when it's the right time to do so.

This poll has expired or has been locked. ? I've locked it and I wanted to do Logos because it is more fun for me to do and sorry that I've locked it for you. I've already got started on it and this is an area that I have the most interest in. This is going to be one heck of a countdown and I've found many beauties in the internet and you won't be sorry! Hope this helps!

Little History of this Countdown
In the past two weeks, I've looked at over 500 logos and downloaded over 350 and after a careful review of them I've deleted 200 of them in a very painful process and I could had done 200 if I want to. That's would be an overkill on this project and I felt that 150 is enough for me.
These logos are the ones that I've seen in my lifetime and everyone of them is from DC and Marvel Comics - the TWO Powerhouses of long Comic Book Histories and I spent most of my life looking at these logos. I've read about 60 percent DC and 40 percent Marvel. No Image, Dynamite, Charlton, and etc.
This is going to be my Swan Song of Reviews and I'm getting up in age and my memory is still sharp and I've wanted to do this for fun for all of you here. I used to do 50 Greatest Costume Design and all those reviews in the past and this one is a bit different and more personal. I'm just going to share my opinions and nothing else.
I got 50 Honorable Mentions and doing them in alphabetical order and they are all #101 (fifty times) and I'll be starting with the first two shortly!
So, the Logos Countdown begins with ...

Adam Strange from DC ComicsThis one is a cool logo and it's spacey one and it's sleek and stylish and the colors here really pops and I've had this as high as #80 once and after looking at another 50 or more logos ... it's went to the Honorable Bin in a hurry. I loved Adam Strange aa a kid once reading about his adventure and I felt that this version is more attune to most readers and this one (the original) was cut because of the placement of the words didn't suit to well and I had to cut it out and reject it altogether. Adam on top and Strange on the bottom is a poor way of handling it. This one (the top) is more streamlined and it's draws the reader eyes just by looking at it. Quite Bold indeed! The Astonishing Ant-Man from Marvel ComicsThis one is a very cool logo done by Marvel Comics and it's one of my favorite books when it's came out and the reason for grabbing this book is the simplicity of the design of this logo. I've liked the hyphen and that's alone made it original and stylish. The Yellow and Red Combination really pops at you and I felt that this one's a keeper and I just like the curve of the logo and believe me it's a winner in my book. I always have a fondness of Yellow used primarily as a Color in all logos and it's catches your attention in a big way! This one got rejected because the words "The Astonishing" did not cut for me and from the the distance you don't see it and all that you see is Ant-Man and that's it. I felt that Marvel did a poor job with this logo. I've just don't care for it at all. Two down and 148 logos to go ... my next two will come in a few days from now!
