Swamp Thing trailer just dropped. Looks great but it's sounds like this might only run 1 season because of director conflict, which I hope is not the case.

They already cut the Swamp Thing season from 13 to 10 episodes (while they were in production for episode 11), so yeah, I am not to optimistic about the future of this one.
Meanwhile, DC has added their entire digital library of comics to the service, so there are more comics than ever available on it, and it doesn't look to be curated any more.

Had meant to see this on SyFy but what little tv I watch is usually on as white noise in the background either when I'm working from home or sleeping and it tends to be the news, Investigation Discovery, or some news investigation show like 20/20, Dateline, etc.
Catching it now on DC Universe. Just saw the pilot and enjoyed it very much. Will be getting caught up to date with it.

Krypton is on DC Universe.
I've seen some of it and really like it, and then read yesterday that after 2 seasons SyFy is pulling the plug on that, as well as the proposed Lobo spin-off.
Hopefully DC Universe would pick them up.

I finally broke down and got DC Universe, I had been waiting for it to become compatible with my TV(they're both samsungs) but seeing and constantly debating myself about picking up the remastered DVD collection of Batman the Animated Series I decided that it didn't make sense. I could get the first two seasons of Batman for 50 bucks...or for just 20 more bucks I could get every season of Batman, plus all of Superman, Justice League, Batman Beyond and a bunch of other great stuff too. Sure it's 70 bucks a year, not just one shot but so far it seems like there's more than enough content to justify it.

The original content is mostly why I get it and it's been outstanding : Titans, Doom Patrol, Swamp Thing, and anxious to see what animated Harley Quinn rated R looks like.

When are American animators going to learn that gratituous gore and profanity doesn't make a show adult, it makes it seem more childish? The plot seems pretty good (and I don't really like Harley), but between that and the lack of the 'correct' voices (sorry, I need the Diniverse ones) would make it hard to watch for me.

Much like Wolverine, I liked the character before she morphed into a mega star.
Curious to see the show but not thinking it's going to be my cup of tea.
OTOH, my g/f is anxious for it.
grrl power

DC has renewed Titans for a 3rd Season coming in Fall 2020. Will be curious to see if it ends up being on HBOMAX as well as DC Universe like Doom Patrol.

Stargirl episodes will air on the CW following their debut on DC Universe. It'll be interesting to see what the future holds for DC Universe going forward. With them farming out so much of their programming to other platforms like the CW and HBOMAX, I don't know if the future looks very bright for their original series.

They're not going to learn that ever. Whereas in many parts of the world, the term "adult" refers to something that is thought-provoking while exploring mature themes and that may be a little more graphic than usual fare, in the US, "adult" means cursing, boobs, and blood and guts, usually in a completely mindless manner. Many Americans are not interested in being challenged intellectually, nor do they even have the capacity to address mature thinking in any way, shape, or form. It's a nation of lowest-common denominator entertainment, best summed up by an episode of The Simpsons where Homer is included as a judge for the Springfield Film Festival and his vote is for a video of a man getting hit in the groin with a football.
