Early reviews are very positive, though I suspects only the really enthused have been allowed to see it so far

I'm really looking forward to this flick, but I won't know what to think until I've seen it - too bad so many folks wanna pee on something they haven't seen yet

Critics reviews are up on Rotten Tomatoes, so there's something to ponder other than review-bombing by pathetic butt-hurt losers - broadly positive, I would say, hovering around 6 - 7 / 10, with some outliers in both directions.
Several comments that the first 1/3 isn't great but gets better as it goes along.
So, I'm cautiously optimistic, still without having much anticipaton for it. Slightly irritated that (due to personal circumstances), I'm probably going to see Endgame before this one, so will miss any set up present in this film (and at the end of the credits)

I was going to see it this weekend, but a bunch of colleagues asked if anybody wanted to see it tonight, so I'm seeing it tonight.

I'll see it in a few weeks. My son is the entire percussion section of the pit in his school's production of Fiddler on the Roof this week. And I never see popcorn movies opening weekend. Three weeks in on a Sunday matinee and the crowds have thinned considerably.

I'll be going with the wife and daughters to see it next Saturday, as my older daughter has a swim meet this week. Although not completely necessary, we are going to watch Ant-Man & Wasp this Saturday night, which gets them completely caught up on the MCU.
For me, this is the first MCU film that I haven't taken the opening day off from work to go see in the theaters in a long time (the last time, it might have been Iron Man 3). I like Captain Marvel well enough, but the reviews I've seen so far say it's rather perfunctory, a paint-by-numbers exercise to get her introduced to the MCU ahead of Endgame, and since my girls want to see it as well, I didn't see burning any PTO only to have to go again next weekend.

I saw it, no spoilers here, but I enjoyed it. It's a Marvel movie, which comes with its own baggage, but Brie Larson is great as always, Samuel L. Jackson looks to have more fun than I've seen him have in any recent movies. Being set in the 90s and going with a bunch of IT people all around 30-40 years old, a lot of the jokes and music really hit.

I saw it, and thought it was very good. It's better than I anticipated based on the trailer. From the trailer, it seemed like Brie Larson had flat affect throughout, but that's not really representative of her acting in the movie. She's very good. There are two post-credits, in the usual places you'd anticipate seeing them. I'll hold off on getting more specific until more people see it.

It's 1:17 now in Atlanta ... and I'm at a Burger Place for Lunch and will be seeing Captain Marvel at 3pm today and afterwards talk about it. I'll give you all my review about it tomorrow.

Quite liked it and loved the way they introduced Monica Rambeau into the MCU, even if I am not the biggest fan of the character's costumed identities in the comics.

I saw it yesterday, and I was surprised how well it's holds up and the action scenes were nicely done and Brie Larson was surprisingly good as Captain Marvel. The script is average to above average, the costumes were excellent, had a nice pace to it and I like Samuel L. Jackson's performance and I also liked Lashana Lynch role as Maria Rambeau.
Jude Law, Annette Bening, and Ben Mendelsohn as Talos was good and they handled their roles as what I expected them to do. I liked to the extent of the film and yet this film was rated right in the middle of average to above average grade. So, in best that I can grade it ... I give this film a weak B Minus or a Strong C Plus.
That's the best I can do for now ...
