Episode 6 "The Flash Is Born" Interesting display of Girder's power. Love the Man of Steel nod. I like that Barry is stepping up his game both in pushing himself speed wise and learning to fight. Nice that Iris was the one that landed the knockout punch. Great ending!

I missed last night show - can anyone here can fill me on any details about it? Villain was Girder. He could turn himself into living steel. He was a Bully Barry faced in grade school. He took Iris hostage. To be able to defeat Girder, Barry had to run past mach 1 breaking the sound barrier and placing his punch just right from over 5 miles away in a straight line. Barry doubts himself at points but when sparring with Eddie in the police precinct gym he heeds some advice since he realizes they have similar pasts. And also advice from Joe. Joe confronts Dr. Wells about why he moved to Central City when he did, assuming that he had some to do with Nora Allen's murder. But learns from Wells it was because of his relationship with Tess Morgan(whom according to Wells was much smarter than he), and that she had died and he wanted to start over where no one know him. Joe was visited by our friend in yellow and all the info form Nora's case was taken from Joe and a threat made against Iris' life if he continued to search for the answers to the unsolved murder.

Thanks for the nice recap ... I will watch the show tomorrow night on my cable box.

Episode 7 "Power Outage" Nice to see Robert Knepper from Arrow reprise his role as Tockman. Continuity! I enjoyed the Girder Farooq fight scene but wasn't expecting Girder to die. Interesting seeing Barry question Dr. Wells motives. I'm curious about his super computer Gideon. Nice Easter eggs in the list of names Dr. Wells mentioned.

Wells almost seems at the start of unraveling and revealing what his ultimate plan is for Barry. It was also nice to actually see normal humans(Iris w/ Joe & Eddie's help) save themselves without having to rely on the guy with super powers all the time.
Loved the list of names that Well rattled off....does anyone have the full list? I caught, Bea DaCosta(Fire/Green Flame/Green Fury), Will Everett(Amazing Man), Al Rothenstein(Nuklon/Atom Smasher), Ronnie Raymond(Firestorm), I feel like there were some others I'm forgetting.

Episode 8 "Flash vs. Arrow" Enjoyed the huge grin on Barry's face when Green Arrow shows up. Diggle being startled when Barry ran up was pretty funny. Felicity's burnt shirt. Updated version of the Rainbow Raider. "How can you have super speed and still not be on time?" made me laugh as well. Whoa was that Firestorm at the end?!

Diggles reaction was hilarious, also his fanboy argument with Cisco while Flash and GA were fighting.

I'm finally all caught up with the Flash Show and I certainty enjoyed last night ARROW show as well. These two shows are quite entertaining for their own merits and I'm quite happy of how these shows are panning out. They (Producers of each of these shows) are doing a good job holding it all together and most importantly I hope that these shows will have a long and fruitful existence.
