Again my #10-6 looks very different than Doctor Fate's, and probably form a lot of Marvel fan's lists as it leans heavily towards B and C list characters...
10. Iron Fist
9. Gamora
8. Daredevil
7. Shang Chi
6. Clea

Number 5 - The ThingAlter Ego - Benjamin Jacob "Ben" Grimm Team Affiliations - The Fantastic Four, West Coast Avengers, New Avengers Created by - Stan Lee Illustrated by - Jack Kirby AbilitiesSuperhuman strength, stamina, and durability, Rock-like skin Skilled in street fighting and hand-to-hand combat Excellent dexterity and above-average reflexes Enhanced lung capacity Interesting Fact - The Thing's speech patterns are loosely based on those of Jimmy Durante. Interesting Fact 2 - Excelling in football as a high school student, Ben received a full scholarship to Empire State University, where he first met his eventual lifelong friend in a teen-aged genius named Reed Richards, as well as future enemy Victor von Doom, better known as Doctor Doom. Interesting Fact 3 - This picture below expresses everything! Reason for Rank: One of the most beloved and popular Marvel Heroes of all time and I just loved his expression it's Clobbering Time! ... That's alone earned his way to be number 5 in my Countdown and rightly so. I just loved his gentleness, his concerns of humanity, and most of all he cares about saving it. Man, he's the reason that I've loved so much about the Fantastic Four. He's comes at Number 5 and earned it.

HA! You have Johnny one spot ahead of Reed and so do I. That version of the Human Torch is my #4 favorite Marvel super hero. The android Human Torch and his sidekick Toro would also rank very highly. The only member of the Fantastic Four that doesn't do much for me is the Thing. Iron Man makes it onto the like list and I have his Essential volumes and a few more from the 1970s that I had as a kid. It seems he fought someone trying to melt his armor in every issue I bought. I'm pretty sure my top two Marvel characters will both show up tomorrow.

I'm not gonna rip on anybody's picks. We like what we like and that's fine. Man-Thing would make my top ten, fer cryin' out loud. But you're going to have to explain this one to me, MRP. Clea at #6? I've read and loved a ton of Doc Strange and Clea always seemed to be either kidnapped, possessed, or fainting dead away. What game-changing Clea appearance(s) did I miss?
ETA: You have to explain not because I order you to do so, but because I am unenlightened and seek to change my state.

Great stuff by Roger Stern, who really allowed Clea to come into her own.

Number 4 - Captain AmericaAlter Ego - Steven "Steve" Rogers Team Affiliations - Avengers, Invaders, New Avengers, and host of others Created by - Joe Simon Illustrated by - Jack Kirby AbilitiesOlympics-level athleticism, and peak human physiological conditioning Master martial artist, agility expert, tactician, and marksman Wields vibranium-steel alloy shield Excellent field commander Interesting Fact - Captain America was the first Marvel Comics to have appeared in media outside comics with the release of the 1944 movie serial Captain America. Interesting Fact 2 - Had a sidekick named Bucky. During his stint in the Invaders. Reason for Rank: The Best All-Around Superhero of all-time - Captain America is one of the most capable Superhero that Marvel ever had, excellent in every way shape and form - he's worthy at Number 4 and rightly so. There is no other way and I originally had him at Number 3 but after thinking about him and Number 4 - Number 4 is more impressive. Great Pictures of Captain America Here ...

Number 3 - Black PantherAlter Ego - T'Challa Team Affiliations - The Fantastic Four, Avengers, Defenders Created by - Stan Lee Illustrated by - Jack Kirby AbilitiesSuperhuman senses, Olympic-level strength, speed, reflexes, stamina, and agility Genius-level intellect, Trained gymnast and acrobat Wields vibranium uniform, boots, and equipment Interesting Fact - He is the first black superhero in mainstream American comics, debuting several years before such early African-American superheroes as Marvel Comics' the Falcon, Storm and Luke Cage, and DC Comics' Tyroc, Black Lightning and Green Lantern John Stewart. Interesting Fact 2 - Associated with Storm of the X-Men - See Storm for more details. Reason for Rank: He earned the rights to be Number 3, why any Superhero without superstrength and any other means necessary can have the savvy to take down the entire Fantastic Four in one stellar adventure that involves Wyatt Wingfoot. I was thinking about that adventure today and I re-read that story again and that story alone made me think about the intellect of Black Panther to take down the entire Fantastic Four including Reed Richards Mr. Fantastic. Man, this guy is a wrecking machine and I have to move him up from Number 4 to Number 3! Great Pictures of Black Panther Here ...

Number 1 - SpidermanAlter Ego - Peter Benjamin Parker Team Affiliations - Avengers, New Avengers, New Fantastic Four, and Secret Defenders Created by - Stan Lee Illustrated by - Steve Ditko AbilitiesSuperhuman strength, speed, agility, stamina, reflexes, and endurance Ability to cling to most surfaces, Healing factor Able to shoot very strong spider-web strings from wrists via web-shooters Precognitive Spider-Sense. Genius-level intellect Master hand-to-hand combatant Interesting Fact - Marvel Comics editor and head writer Stan Lee was casting about for a new superhero idea. He said the idea for Spider-Man arose from a surge in teenage demand for comic books, and the desire to create a character with whom teens could identify. In his autobiography, Lee cites the non-superhuman pulp magazine crime fighter the Spider (see also The Spider's Web and The Spider Returns) as a great influence. Reason for Rank: No one unseat Spiderman! ... To me, he is Mr. Marvel Comics himself. Case Closed! Great Pictures of Spiderman Here ...
