Although we don't have Disney+ service? I DO have some goddamn amazing friends, who came by today and gifted me this! (it's a "WandaVision" Press Box . . which were apparently only distributed in LA and in Austin, + mailed out to some tv reviewers). So hard to get, and I now have one. I must be a good person to have friends like these
Wow! Very cool. What's the black square with Wanda's face in the middle? A package of DVDs of the episodes? A coaster?

^ it's a packet of 8 coasters (heavy cardboard). . 4 Wanda/4 Vision
and what looks like a TV guide is a blank notebook to use!
inside what looks like a pencil case, is reusable plastic silverware, and a rubber straw.
(the tray is metal too, and the glass is. . glass).
very, very cool, even tho I haven't seen the show

What a nice present, It must have cost them a pretty penny. Wow, Disney doesn't let grass grow under their feet.

Amber and I finally watched all three episodes tonight. WOW. I honestly don't think the mystery is too complex. Wanda has retreated into her own mind after losing Vision and Pietro (possibly in an alternate universe...2800 is their street address in the show and could be the universe number), HYDRA is somehow involved, and SWORD is trying to extract her, and she is sort of playing out that Twilight Zone episode where anyone who doesn't play into her ideal world gets ejected. I made the mistake of discovering who Geraldine really was with a google search. You may want to look it up! The specific details will get filled in, of course, but I doubt they are guessable at this point. We love the nods to classic sitcoms. Honestly, the premises of the first two episodes were better than anything we've ever seen on Bewitched. The acting is superb too. I honestly hope they'll throw us a few more curveballs though, because the mystery seems a little too easy right now. We've also read speculation that this is an adaptation of House of M and will ultimately lead to the introduction of the MCU Charles Xavier, setting up the X-Men film. That would sure be exciting.

I think the big question at this point is: Wanda doing it to herself, or is SWORD doing it to contain her, either pre-emptively, or because she did something crazy? maybe 'No More Mutants' already happened in the MCU off camera? THAT would be wild. They're definitely nailing the parody for sure... we'll have to see if they stick it in the larger plot.

Generally agreed with your assessments. Something I'm personally curious about is
{Spoiler: Click to show} the status of individuals within the "Wandaverse". We got a hint that the neighbors are aware that they are living in a false reality, implying that they are not part of the illusion themselves. Are they also "infiltrators", as Geraldine apparently was? Or are they civilians who are trapped? And what's the deal with Vision? If he's able to discern that something is wrong with his environment, is that suggesting that he too is not native to that reality? And how does that work if he's supposed to be dead?

I've considered that Wanda may be inside the mind stone in an effort to somehow restore vision from imprints of himself that were left there. The end credits feel like the inside of a machine mind as opposed to Wanda's.

I will pose some of my theories...I think there is just as many "nods" and "Easter eggs" meant to distract as there are legitimate things to pay attention to. The sheer number of things is done on purpose, which is why this show is not only a great homage to sitcoms past but also a never ending treasure trove of clues towards the end result and direction of the MCU. I don't think it will be as "plain and simple" as people seem to think, personally. {Spoiler: Click to show} A few things from me...
1. This is more than just Wanda's world. People, both good and bad, are trying to infiltrate. It is hard to know who is part of her reality and the outside world and even other forces...and maybe at times she can tell (hence kicking Garaldine out) and other times she cannot tell. Ultimately, all of this will lead to the death of her two sons and cause Wanda to distort reality on a major scale, one which changes the MCU and we begin to all live in her world. Vision will be back and mutants will exist, which allows the X-Men a plausable intro to the MCU
2. Agnes is somebody bigger than Agatha Harkness. I think that her being Agatha is all to obvious and that her role is much MUCH bigger than we think.
3. Dottie is Mephisto. And, maybe to buck my original theory, he will offer Wanda a chance to change the past by altering reality (hey he did it for Parker....regrettably) which could also allow for mutants to come into the MCU. It would also be hilarious to see Mephisto and Parker then interact in a later film and having Mephisto offer to change something from Parker's past, only to have him quip "Nah, I don't know if that would go over so well..."

Is it wrong that I'm more interested in the reel-to-reel tape machine in your hi-fi set up? What is it and what's the story behind it?

Watched episode 1 last night. The sardonic parody of 50's sitcoms and surface level optimism/suburban utopia has been done so many times, I found it a little grating. This sort of thing impressed me when I was 14 and watching Nirvana's "In Bloom" video, or Ed Wood, but not so much with this execution. Clever if you've never seen it done better. Still, I'm intrigued to find out where the overall story is going and will give it some time to build.

Episode 4 "We Interrupt This Program" may be the best episode yet. It gives us some answers but still leaves some mystery. Really enjoying how well this series is done and I hope the other Marvel Disney+ series follow suit.

It was very cool to see The Blip as experienced by "normal" people and the chaos that ensued. We only got little tidbits of it. I'm also interested to see how the series affects {Spoiler: Click to show}SWORD in light of the Far from Home Fury stinger.

Episode 4 was exactly what the series needed at exactly the right time. Much as I enjoyed the old sitcom homages in the first three episodes, at some point, they needed to start explaining what was going on in a broader context. Only down side to them doing some of the things they are doing and characters they are bringing in is that we have to pause the episode every few minutes so my wife can ask "now, who is that? They look familiar." She's watched all of the movies (except IM3 and GotG2), but she doesn't commit things from them to her hard drive, for lack of a better term, so while our older daughter and I are going ga-ga over the continuity nods and Easter eggs (our younger daughter is somewhere in the middle), she is having to play catch-up. Also, in regard to one thing going on: {Spoiler: Click to show}Interesting that the agent sent into Westview through the tunnels morphed into a beekeeper. A.I.M., anyone?

I know Park was Woo in the Antman films but seeing him here really made mew pine for an Agents of Atlas show or movie.

Just watched ep 4... I agree 100% it was time for some answers, and they provided. Nice touch having the scientist from the Thor movies.. that didn't NEED to happen, but it was fun to have them remember it's all in the same universe. The brief glimpse of Vision outside the illusion VERY much reminded me of emotionless Vision in WCA. I like Shax's idea that maybe she is (or thinks) she's trying to bring him back out of his mind
