Watched the first two episodes and really enjoyed them.
It really worked as a classic sitcom but also keeps building towards something sinister beneath the surface. Great start.

Too tired to watch this tonight... definitely before the end of the weekend though. Looking forward to see where they go with it!

I enjoyed it. You know there is a bigger play at work and it’s fun to look for clues to what’s next or what’s coming. On top of that the 50s sitcom aspect of it just feels nice. Maybe some fans expecting this action packed event will be met down but I admire the ambition to do this. Definitely drawing insprirstions similar to Tom Kings run and I can’t wait to see where it goes! Great acting too!

I signed up for Disney+ yesterday, because this was the first show there I absolutely wanted to see as it was released without a bunch of people spoil it for me. I really enjoyed it so far, too. They've really gone all in on the concept. Because so far it's a slow burn getting into the mystery, I can see why they decided to release 2 episodes the first day. In the comics, I tend to like the Avengers who weren't established solo stories before they joined the team, so I was excited to see Vision and Scarlet Witch in the MCU. I'm glad they'll get to have some more focus in this series. Elisabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany are both great.
I noticed a couple things from the credits. First, Olsen and Bettany alternate first billing. Olsen is billed first in episode 1. Bettany is billed first in episode 2. Also, the credits for the foreign language captioning also reveals who one of the characters is supposed to be. It wasn't a spoiler to me, because I already read in the Wikipedia article that Whatshername is playing So-And-So, but it does add to the mystery of what exactly the sitcom is.

Watched the first two episodes... It'll be interesting to see which direction they go... I mean, in once sense, they're obviously going to walk through the era of TV, which will be fun... but what the big plot is will be intriguing. There's quite a few comic plots that can fit in that I can picture, or it could be a totally unique thing. We'll see!

I haven't watched it but am intrigued. From what I understand of the premise, though, is there any way this thing can extend beyond a single season?

It depends what they're going for. The running through different sit coms eras part of the show obviously has limited length (they did the 50s and 60s in the first 2 episodes... Previews showed they'll do a 70s and 80s one.. so max 2 eps each for that).
It really depends what the end plot is... it's quite possible it'll be set up as an ongoing thing, but I suspect it's more one story that will end.

I didn’t really enjoy the first two episodes. I think it’s going to be important to the MCU, and I’m glad they’re doing something different but I’m just not that interested in this particular offering.

I haven't watched it but am intrigued. From what I understand of the premise, though, is there any way this thing can extend beyond a single season? My guess is that for purposes of the MCU this will treated sort of like a movie in long form. In other words, it's primarily a discrete story, rather than one chain link in an ongoing series. If it's wildly successful, then like a Marvel movie, Disney will have an incentive to work on sequel ideas. However, I'm guessing it will be a new story arc. Of course, I'm only working from 2 episodes plus trailers, so maybe it'll end up going down a different path.

Same, glad Disney is allowing for more experimentation than the standard "fight bad guy to save the day" plotline

I'm enjoying it. I loved the nod in episode 2 to the Glamour and Illusion characters from the second Vision and Scarlet Witch limited series.
Cei-U! I summon the callback!

I think it's an intriguing concept, and there's very clearly a bigger mystery they are pointing towards. The retro sit-com thing is amusing so far, but only as a window dressing. They are going to have to start unveiling more of the mystery pretty quickly and let that become the central story. The sitcom fan service thing isn't enough to keep my interest for the entire run.

Watched the first two episodes with my wife and girls on Friday night. Different reactions around the room. Daughters both really liked it, wife thought first episode was "weird" but got more into the second when she could see it was building to something. I liked them both, but for me (and I've been spoiler free), it's about figuring out what comic story they're trying to tell and how it will translate to the big screen.
I think this is intended to be a one-and-done series. IIRC, this is supposed to lead into the next Dr. Strange movie, which will co-star Elizabeth Olsen, so I'm figuring this will actually be a "link in the chain" rather than something that exists in a vacuum. The MCU is a finely-crafted watch, with each component serving a very specific purpose.

Although we don't have Disney+ service? I DO have some goddamn amazing friends, who came by today and gifted me this! (it's a "WandaVision" Press Box . . which were apparently only distributed in LA and in Austin, + mailed out to some tv reviewers). So hard to get, and I now have one. I must be a good person to have friends like these
