Here's a link to an interview with the series head scribe Jac Schaeffer, where she talks about some of the decisions made for the series vis-avis who would appear and who wouldn't in terms of guests and cameos, and the impetus behind the series direction as a whole... pretty insightful peek behind the curtain. -M

Plenty of great writers out there who are capable of taking old properties in new directions without having revered the characters as children.

Yeah, I like the movie pitch meeting videos. That guy is funny. As for what the show did or did not deliver on, promised or not: {Spoiler: Click to show}Fake Pietro - I am not entirely sure this was just a fake out. Do you remember Jimmy Woo first came to town investigating a missing persons case on someone in witness relocation? They never mentioned that again. Also, do you really think Ralph Bohner is a real name, or that he would laugh at his own name?
Might be nothing, or it might come back into play later.
Wanda's kids - I am not entirely sure they ceased to exist, obviously being teased in the post-credits scene calling for her. Also knowing that upcoming MCU projects will delve into the multi verse and that Disney has rights or negotiated agreements with Spidey and Fox, on top of Wanda having the ability to create from nothing and being empowered with an infinity stone... it seems pretty clear the kids will come back in some form.
Monica Rambeau was kind of random, but MCU does always link stuff up in various ways. Just like real like, not everything pertains directly to the main "plot" I guess.

I'm liking the costume a lot better than I thought I would. I've always thought her costume from the comics looked cool, and was hoping for a more modern take on it (funny that it's parodied in the series), but this style works just as well. Also heard that Elizabeth Olsen didn't want to wear anything with cleavage exposure. Her original costume had a pink I guess, undershirt where one would see the cleavage, but maybe the original design overall wouldn't be practical even with a modern touch-up.
