So to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the World's Greatest Super-Heroes line, Mego will be releasing a series of figures in the window boxes with the original packaging art over the course of the year. They will even have the oven mitts. Info hereI assume it will just be DC since they don't have a deal with Marvel that I am aware of, but I've seen no confirmation of that. -M

I've been wanting to support the Mego relaunch for ages now but have not liked the look of the new figures. I'll gladly support reissuing the classics!

Sweet! Though aside from Green Arrow the best looking figures were Marvel.
Hopefully they will actually be available and not hard to find.

They are supposed to be available at all their regular retail outlets (Walmart, Target, etc.) but that's no guarantee they will be easy to find, our local stores are raided by ebay flippers and toy dealers who don't have wholesale accounts before most folks get a chance to see them on the shelves. If I go for these (and with my current budget and downsizing I am not sure I will), I'd probably order through someplace like BBTS or Entertainment Earth, or one of the dealers with wholesale accounts that are active in the Mego groups on FB. -M

Our local Walmart doesn’t carry Megos. The closest is the one in Twin and it’s 40 miles away. I’ve generally had decent luck finding the ones I’ve wanted without pre-ordering usually on Amazon. The exception was the Headless Horseman figure, which looked incredible. That one I should have pre-ordered. Oh well.

I just got the most recent wave of the 3.75" Marvel figures at the same time as I would have using BBTS and without the upcharge.

Throw a Wayne Foundation into that release, and I'll be in seventh heaven.

How could anyone refuse this? I suspect I'll be getting all of them. Though I still have all my originals (save Superman who I never had nor wanted). My poor Batman and Robin are in very rough shape. My Aquaman and Shazam are still pretty well preserved.

It's going to be a bit before those are available. The pone pictured at the SDCC booth are mock up prototypes slapped together using "reproductions of the costumes. Production hasn't actually begun on them, and with Mego's track record for turnaround time on production form China since they came back to business, I doubt you will see those until some time in 2023.

Would you happen to know if they will be released to general retailers such as Wal-Mart?
