Savage and this book were 2 of the first 3 options I thought of. I went with the reprint of Savage (better cover than the original), and was wondering if this or my other option would show up (I highly doubt option 3 will show up as I think only 5 people besides me know about it/remember it and those 5 read about it in my S&S review thread ) -M I wonder if we will see any Star Hawks? Too bad he didn't illustrate this... Not a bad take on King Arthur. I always wondered how much was Jakes (probably the actual writing) and how much was Kane (I'm betting much of the plot).

I always forget Kane did the cover to that. I always just assume it was Cockrum.

I wonder if we will see any Star Hawks? ooh I forgot about Starhawks. I have one of the Blackthorne collections and one of the Tempo papaerback collections, but I would love to get a complete collection of those strips. -M

I always forget Kane did the cover to that. I always just assume it was Cockrum. Marvel homogenizing strikes again.

It can be hard to find a good Kane cover that is colored well. A lot of his work I find looks great in black and white but loses some of its appeal once colour is added. I love the colours on this one. Also love Kane faces

Powerful cover. Drama overload for The Creeper in ways Ditko could not capture with the character.

I don't have a snowballs chance in heck to win so I'll toss in a Spidey Mobile cover.

Could have picked some other more famous covers, put this cover grabbed me by the throat as a kid. What a cover ! Still one of my favorite Bronze Age babies. Tony is gonna get pummeled from both sides by heavyweights Hulk and Iron Man and the other Avengers don't care ? What ?! This might be the best What If? issue ever.

A signed cover, a classic hero in a classic Kane pose, a classic Kane damsel-in-distress, and a classic Kane dragon:

I always forget Kane did the cover to that. I always just assume it was Cockrum. I was thinking of writing exactly the same thing.

I always forget Kane did the cover to that. I always just assume it was Cockrum. I was thinking of writing exactly the same thing. Cockrum did pencil the old X-Men here--the guys in the background, the ones being put out to pasture replaced--as well as ink the whole thing. Kane penciled the new team bursting forth. Great covers everyone! Love the variety EDIT: confirmed this with the GCD entry, fwiw
