I hope this is what finally kills Snyder's career.

I hope this is what finally kills Snyder's career. While I would never wish that on anyone, I do hope it's the turning point that convinces Warner to take their DCU films in a very different direction.

The course correction already started when they took the movie away from Snyder mid-movie.
Their problem was trying to make Justice League into a MCU movie.
It doesn't and didn't work.

With Snyder, there was a consistent, solid vision that ran through four films, and hopefully, his JL will continue that vision and complete stories started in the other DCEU films. The disjointed DCEU films were JL with Whedon trying to apply the same kiddie MCU crap to JL, and he destroyed it. Then, there was Shazam, which about as appealing as the unsold JL pilot from the 90s or that low-rent dreck on the CW. In other words, it was not.

I just wish that Warner Bros would have had faith in the plan that Snyder was executing over multiple films.
It's not everyone's cup of tea to be sure, but releasing the Snyder Cut and indeed the whole movement proves that men are still good.

I don't want him driven into poverty, just somewhere where his sensibilities would be more at home. The Asylum, for instance.

It's not everyone's cup of tea to be sure, but releasing the Snyder Cut and indeed the whole movement proves that men are still good. Warner Bros decision to have Whedon poison JL gave them the failure they deserved, while next to no one is begging for crap like Shazam to be the standard of the DCEU. Further, the forthcoming Flash( point) movie is a continuation of what Snyder introduced, so his impact will still be felt, and that's a good thing.

Shazam had its flaws for sure, but it was way better than anything Snyder did in the DCEU. I am baffled at praise for Snyder's DC films. Its like looking at fresh roadkill and pronouncing it a superior vision of what a squirrel should be.

(...) Its like looking at fresh roadkill and pronouncing it a superior vision of what a squirrel should be. O.k. That's brilliant. I have to remember that one...

Snyder's financial situation is just fine and his work will join the ranks of other hacks. No one, no matter how bad, goes broke in Hollywood, without massive cocaine bills.

The Snyder Cut of Justice League will premiere on HBO Max on March 18, 2021. They also released 3 posters, Fallen, Risen, Reborn:

The three posters feature bleak ruins... Does the marketing department have a mean sense of humour?

There's the continuation of Batman's Knightmare scene from Batman v Superman in the Snyder Cut.

I was already very interested, but hadn't pulled the trigger on HBO Max just for this. but the moment they started promo-ing with a quote attributed to "Martian Manhunter" ? I was ALL IN (and if we hadn't set up HBO Max to watch WW84, would have done it for this then).
